Where your opinion falls short is that a member of the government made this foolish statement. When that happens, there is a large amount of the population that scratches their collective head and says, "Yes! We should all be saying 'amen and awomen' because they just don't know any better. A snowball rolling down a mountain of snow is not a snowball at the bottom. People are lemmings and they follow these elected officials like they are leaders rather than servants of the people!

If the liberals have their way, they will one day try to subvert the constitution directing religious entities to marry same sex couples. Haven't they already attempted some of this with the order that all must provide birth control even if your religious beliefs are against it? I am not going to look this up right now, but I do remember something about this with the ACA.

Finally, here is this conservative stating emphatically that I am okay if the 25th Amendment were invoked today and we were rid of Trump. With what is going on in or with Iran, I fear for what can happen in the next 14+ days. In addition, I do not support anything that is going on in congress or elsewhere to question or subvert the Electoral College. That, of course, is just my opinion on these matters.

 

Not sure what is so difficult about calling a buffoon a Buffon without qualifying it against "but this other person is a buffoon too", which is exactly what was also done with Trump.
