Trump says he wants the warrant released. Of course making demands on his crackpot media site isn't the same as filing a formal legal request. His lawyers have to respond to the judge.

 

We might soon be busy trying to defend and keep the democracy..........which is being test ed and strained at the moment.

as long as there is much much dissent and turbulence within this country........ it is making itself very vulnerable to external threats. ...........the ....internal threats are becoming very obvious. The world is watching........ and if this country is to remain some kind of example of democracy etc , it will have to get its act together.
This is not about"hating Trump........but he has not been a constructive ethical person his entire life. Seems that anyone running for office has too b e vetted in a more comprehensive way Qualifications should matter more than money. There should be some psych testing...............to rule out serious personality disorders the job is highly stressful.......and demanding..... and does requires a certain knowledge base. One can't just "wing it"

This country is in a major transition........ and might be at a tipping pint. It could be a rough ride.

and in my humble opinion .....we do not need a rerun of the trump phenomena. It would just be a presidency filled with revenge. He is not an idea man.........an dis too controlling to be an effective leader. He has a real problem with the truth........... unless it is his version. He is just too divisive a personality.

As I understand it, the sealing prevents the DOJ from releasing it. It doesn’t prevent trump from releasing it.
Anyway, the details of federal court procedure are not worth arguing about.
The thing that is interesting is whether trump will oppose the application.

It is being reported across multiple media outlets that the FBI was looking to retrieve confidential, aka "Top Secret" documents about the US nuclear arsenal during the Mar-a-lago raid.

If such documents were found then this elevates this event to an entirely different level.

Before anyone gets all emotional in any way, take a moment to honestly think about that one. That is not a partisan issue. That is a national EXISTENTIAL issue.

I for my part have a terrible sinking feeling deep in my stomach.

You can't say that with even an ounce of certainty. You know the man you elected, even if you won't allow yourself to admit it in front of others. But don't worry, you don't have to. Your acceptance or non-acceptance of the truth does not alter the truth in any way.

If a Judge sealed a warrant even the defendant must file a motion with the court to unseal it. I read where Trump is not objecting to it being unsealed, but he still may not release it to the public. It might have value for him not to, legally and/or politically. Especially if the actual affidavit remains sealed.
