Europeans, and all the world, are only too eager to embrace and welcome America and Americans. It is merely a question of mutual respect at the sincerest level. They love the idea of America and what it at least once represented. They would love to see America like that, great, again.

Are you talking about the quote that starts out ""I have great confidence in my intelligence people.." doesn't sound like a rebuke of the intel community

of course he does, that's why he has sanctioned them
"Let me begin by saying that, once again, the full faith and support for America's intelligence agencies, I have a full faith in our intelligence agencies," Trump told reporters at the top of a White House meeting on Tuesday. "Let me be totally clear in saying that — and I've said this many times, I accept our intelligence community's conclusion that Russia's meddling in the 2016 election took place. Could be other people also." President Trump

I would say that today, China is a great geopolitical threat then Russia....thanks to Trump's tough responses to Russia.

My German friends would agree with you, exactly as you have expressed it. They don't agree with my own selective defenses of Trump on certain things, but they would surely agree that they would love to have America back as it was during the time of Ronald Reagan -- AND SO WOULD I....

    What support did he offer?
Didn't he threaten to put missles or something in Poland that pissed putin off?
Didn't he send Russia embassadors out of country for meddling in election?

No, those are just facts. I totally boot lick for the intell community as well. I mean who cares that they lied about WMDs, tortured detainees, didn’t prevent 9/11, and pretty much been up to nefarious **** since the beginning of the Cold War.
    Pound sand with that nonsense.

No, he actually pulled missile defense out of Eastern Europe, because Putin didn’t want it there. Get your facts straight.

    Yeah facts.

Obama abandons missile defence shield in Europe

Barack Obama has abandoned the controversial Pentagon plan to build a missile defence system in Europe that had long soured relations with Russia.

In one of the sharpest breaks yet with the policies of the Bush administration, Obama said the new approach would offer "stronger, swifter and smarter" defence for the US and its allies. He said it would focus on the threat posed by Iran's short- and medium-range missiles, rather than its intercontinental nuclear capabilities.

No it’s not, you posted a wiki page. Obama pulled Missile defense, because Putin wanted it out of there, that’s why he was caught on a hot mic telling medvedev to pass it on to Putin that he would have more flexibility after the election.
I guess that makes him a Putin puppet, by your own standards.
