What I'm the hell were you talking about when you said gays were barred from things their tax dollars pay for?

 

I was talking about “Adoption is whether or not state funded adoption agencies can deny same sex couples from adoption”. That is a direct quote since you seem to be unable to find the source for what you called me a liar on.

I still have no idea what you were talking about besides calling me a liar and stupid because of something I never said and you are now scrambling to get away from after patting yourself on the back for “correcting me”. Strange how your narrative switches so quickly over the span of a few posts.

So again, third time asking: direct quote me saying “gays were barred from adoption”.

Showing someone they have a dishonest and partisan narrative isn’t a victory if they just continue to use the same debate strategy.
This isn’t the first time we have been here, it unfortunately won’t be the last I fear.

I have already tried to discuss this matter in good faith, I laid out my concerns in post #228, we continued on with our typical uneventful back and forth on how great or horrible trump is with you listing two whole pro-gay accomplishments in post #231 (he had over a half dozen or so policy items that could be construed as “pro-gay”) and I followed up with almost two dozen absolutely anti-gay policies in post #232 which you then didn’t even directly address and instead turned them into “big government” bad even though they were directly from trump, you then basically said so what if gay people pay for state adoption organizations while being barred from their services because “Lots of people's taxes go to fund programs they are barred from” even though you couldn’t name one (there are a few but that doesn’t make good policy and absolutely shouldn’t be used as an excuse to discriminate), next came the election conspiracy then your attempt to derail the entire conversation by calling me a liar (but only 95% of the time) for something I didn’t say, followed by some more insults from your end.

If you have made it though that block summarization of our discussion you can see I did have something to discuss: State institutionalized discrimination against gay couples. If you have slung enough insults at me and would like to go back to that discussion I will gladly do so.

To begin I will ask a simple question, do you believe gay people should be able to be discriminated against by taxpayer funded organizations for no reason other than they are gay? If not do you think trumps judicial picks he rammed through will protect these equal rights. If yes, where do you draw the line?

Ugh. If you have chosen to be offended I can't help that it wasn't my intent but I am not apologizing. Having to listen to you carry on about it on on and on is though I owe you something was punishment enough.
