Yes, its true. He, and his apologists insist that the economy was "best ever" and they want more of the same, but the numbers show his economy was actually one of the worst. Not only did job creation suck, but his average GDP growth was 1.5%, which is nothing short of terrible.

Claim: During former U.S. President Donald Trump's term in office, the U.S. suffered the lowest job growth and highest unemployment rate since the Great Depression.

    Rating: True

"BREAKING: Donald Trump claimed he had the best jobs record this country has seen. This is another example of senile behavior. Facts are Trump had the worst jobs record since the Great Depression."

That's BS. People who weren't working when he was President simply didn't want to for whatever reason.

Silly rabbit! Donald Trump has made his proclamation and his following have eaten it up and are primed for regurgitation. Providing facts or proof otherwise is a lesson in futility.

We had the worst pandemic since 1918, too. But, I'm sure that wasn't factored in...lol

And everybody had a job if they wanted one but there was that setback when the Chinese flu hit the world and governments, including ours, over compensated.

This is you playing with facts.

He said best job record, not job creation.

Because get this, when you have maximum labor force participation, there are no more people to employ. And if that is sustained, that's a pretty good job record.

Why are you changing what he said and applying "growth"?

You aren't able to look at the Labor Force Participation and unemployment rates during his presidency?

Well wait, we were told by the retarded Left, back then, that the economy was booming and it was because of Obama. Even Obama said so...

The U.S. economy is chugging along. Employers added 201,000 jobs last month, and the unemployment rate held steady at a low 3.9 percent. Average wages in August were nearly 3 percent higher than they were a year ago.

Who should get the credit for that strong performance?

At a campaign rally in North Dakota last week, President Trump boasted that he's responsible for the economy taking off like a "rocket ship."

But Trump's predecessor wants to remind everyone that the countdown began on his watch.

"When you hear how great the economy is doing right now, let's just remember when this recovery started," former President Barack Obama told supporters Friday at the University of Illinois.

Y'all can't stick to one story. "Orange Man Bad" is all you all can come up with...lol

Not exactly. from election to COVID he had a dynamic job growth. THEN from April 2020 until January 2021 he recovered 12 million jobs; For 2021 Biden added only 9 million. Fact, in February of 2020 Trump had 152.309 million jobs; Biden's most recent (2/2024) was 157.808 mil. For a whopping deference of 5.5 million. Not every impressive, getting the momentum Trump gave him.

    America is fun to watch.

When Trump was in power it was clear from Canada that the US was lagging in recovery, that COVID had devastated the economy far worse than Canada...

And we laughed and laughed when you so many many of you BELIEVED him saying it was the best economy in the world!

PS.....that international trade agreement? The one with Mexico and Canada? It's exactly as written when titled "NAFTA II". Your wonderful leader doesn't even know the contents and has no ****ing idea what he signed. He simply insisted it could not be called NAFTA!

What an idiot! He STILL hasn't figured out we pulled one over on him!

Yes, they remember the lies Trump told us, but they do not change the facts.

    Barely average.

You're right, the facts don't change, Trump got it right and look at the mess Biden has made, factually speaking.

If hiking unemployment by 30% is "getting it right", then I'm not sure what "getting it wrong" would look like.

Ok, so increasing unemployment is "getting it right", and decreasing it to full employment is "getting it wrong".

The mind of a Trump apologist is a mysterious place.

Trump doesn't need apologists, just honesty.

Maybe others need honesty from him, but it seems too much to ask for.

What I have said here are the facts, and you respond by repeating his words which disagree with the truth
