Gruesome story.. I'm glad they arrested him.

 

I am always sad when a child is murdered, regardless of the race of the murderer or the race of the child.

 

He looks oppressed, he should get rehabilitation because he has some problems.

These gruesome crimes would be prevented if we increased welfare to the poor. In Europe they have less crime because they give more welfare out.

When a Black teen was shot by a vigilante, it made months of news.


When a White Teen is shot by a Black Gang Member enforcing his "Turf" ( Vigilante of outlaws ), which happens almost daily, it doesn't even make the news.


At what point does White Americans get over Liberal indoctrinated Racial Guilt, and decide to protect their own children?

I know this is horrible. Kids today aren't safe to play in the front yards or ride their bikes in the neighborhood.. Its not like when mine were young.

 

Actually crime statistics say otherwise. Its sort of like looking at the Sandy Hill shootings and saying schools aren't safe.

I am not saying that parents shouldn't be cautious, but I always am concerned when people seem to think that 'stranger danger' is the biggest threat, when statistics tell us that our children are more in danger from other causes.

 

Children were never that safe, even "back in the day". I would say it was even worse then. At least now kids have phones.

 

But since the OP brought it up.

If this "black man" had fought against the Taliban or won gold medal at the Olympics he would be an "American", but his race would be irrelevant.

 

Call me Pollyanna.. I didn't lock my house during the day.. I didn't lock my car for a quick stop. If it wasn't a school night, my kids played all over the neighborhood on foot and on their bikes til dark.

Who does that now? I know that its not all stranger danger.. and that kids are also aat risk from people they know.. but, there was a time when suburbia was not empty McMansions and many mothers were home during the day.

The world has changed alot.

 

Well, kids don't really paly outside anymore anyway. Crime is lower today than it was 50 years ago. It may not seem like it, but it is. Americans are just paranoid.

Are they? I am unsure that is the problem. My beautiful granddaughters turn heads wherever they go and they don't play out doors unsupervised.

 

About 1% of the population would do harm to your grandkids if given the chance. 1%.

 

Think about this...50 years ago it'd take a long time for news of a shooting to spread nationwide. And stats couldn't be easily read by almost anymore.

If you lived in a relatively safe neighborhood you assumed the world was safer because your world was much much smaller.

Today there's allegedly unabashed gang violence occurring, teenage girls being raped every where they go. Psycho cops on killing sprees, hate groups, terrorists, spree shooters...etc...everywhere you look. You can't avoid the news nowadays. So the world seems much less safe.

Truth is it's a safer world, but a more informed world.

I'm not sure if that makes us more realistic or just more paranoid though.

I think paranoia about black males is justified, as they are far more likely to commit these kinds of crimes than every other race put together. Genelle Conway-Allen found this out the hard way.

 

You know that makes sense.. a 24/7 news cycle.. not just NBC, ABC and CBS.

I don't see any sympathy in your post, I wonder if that is because you hero worship a serial killer/women strangler... interesting.

 

Does it bother you that the majority of these stories come from one small group of people who comprise about 4-5% of the population? Wouldn't you want to address the problem so that future families might be spared having their teenage daughters raped and murdered? Or is having a 95% Democrat voting bloc too important?
