The video is not clear enough for me to see what the officiers saw but they were operating under the assumption the suspect had poured gasoline in the house and was prepared to ignite it killing the remaining hostages.

I have responded to your questions please respond to mine.

How long would it have taken the guy to light his zippo and toss it on the gasoline he had poured in the house killing the other hostages? THAT is what the officers had to consider.

I'd imagine he could have done it in a matter of seconds if he had a lighter in his hand. Did you see one? Is THIS the only thing the officer should have considered?

Sure, police officers should not be shooting innocent unarmed civilians, but that doesn't mean the officer is a murderer. He claims to have had a legitimate fear for his life. We need to hear his side of the story so that he can explain what he saw that none of the others did. Why did the officer think Mr. Finch was the aggressor and not a hostage himself? Why did the officer think Mr. Finch heard the commands, understood them, and willfully refused to comply? The officer's side of the story needs to be heard.

    >>>MOD EDIT Quoted Post Deleted<<<

Supports cops killing unarmed innocent people checking on their porch.

Did they have a warrant for the man? No? Did they have the house that was given in the description? No. Did they do any diligence whatsoever before gunning this guy down? No. Were they shielded behind cover and yelling (not even really yelling) at a guy on his porch that couldn't see or hear them? Ding ding ding, we have a winner.

If this was a hostage situation, they just got every hostage in the building killed.

Why would you support LE or anyone else for that matter non-justifiable shooting an person???
??/ Why would need a warrant?? Here the thing the none of what you typed matters. its all fluff. Cops, for whatever reason told him to put his hands up he didn't. He went for his waist. He died as a result of his own actions.

Nice to see you support a state where not instantly throwing your hands up on your property in the middle of the night is justifiable by the death penalty.

I personally hope a banger from the south side sprays his mind all over a highway, eye/eye, tooth/tooth and whatnot.

A fraction of a second and a report he was going to do it.

The real reason is simple: Finch decided he was going to kill a man that day, and did so. His reason was quite likely no more and no less than, he wanted to watch a man die.

Dude...seriously...just how far over the line would a cop have to be for you to NOT lick his boots? Protection rackets? Drug dealing? Murder for hire? Selling preteen children into slavery?

Told to put his hands up, he went for his waist instead. Now what is so hard to get about that?

Maybe we should reintroduce 'Simon says...' as an early childhood game.
When the police, especially a SWAT unit, says to do something there is but one proper response, regardless of innocence or guilt.

That’s a problem. The people who made this country were against that.

If they could see the willingness to lick the boots of LEO in this country they would have stayed in Britain.

    Against kids playing Simon says?
Each of the officers who demanded the suspect to lick their boots should be prosecuted for abuse of power. How many did exactly that? As best I've been able to find the suspect was ordered to raise his hands to ensure his safety. Suppose a police officer quickly yelled out for you to stop and you took another step and were hit by a car? No harm would have occurred had the 'suspect' complied.

Just a quick update. The officer that killed Finch will not be charged with a crime.

Of course not...they investigated themselves and found they did nothing wrong. I said this almost three months ago.

I hope someone hunts the subhuman down and vivisects him.

There's still a wrongful death lawsuit pending.
