Pointing out facts doesn't make one a victim

"victim mentality" is just another catch phrase you heard Rush use. Sorta like "low information voter" LOL

The value of an employee is determined by weighing the costs of supplied benefits he is provided vs. the portion of profits his performance contributes to.

    I already understand this.

Raising a minimum wage doesn't directly affect that in any way.

Pretty sure I said "education OR skill".... but I'd have to look and see for sure.

    OK, yep. I certainly did.

So... was there a question ?

It is not a "fact" that any "meddling" or "manipulation" is, or has taken place on a conspiratorial scale to "screw" john q public out of any wages or to make him any less "valuable".

Victim mentality, and low information voter is not just catch phrase, but a demonstrated state of mind that has been seen, reported on and is shown nearly daily in the lamestream media.

People who voted for obama "because he's black" are examples of a racists and a low information voters. Are you suggesting no one has admitted to doing this?

But the truth is, the minimum wage in noway accurately reflects what those people earn in profits in relation to what they bring to the table. That's just a cold hard realty. The minimum wage is just a made up number that reflects NOTHING more than the minimum that we as a society will allow employers to pay.

We know this, because the minimum wage is steady across industries, and be honest there is simply no way you can justify claiming that a stock boy at wal mart brings exactly the same value as a fry cook at McD , just to use two examples

And that isn't even what these companies are trying to say anyway . I've never heard McD say " a min wage employee brings $7.25 an hour worth of work to their store" because how would you even figure that ? Oh and besides that, doing so would be COMPLETELY backwards. You don't figure wages based off your prices you figures your prices based off your wages. In EVERY business, but particularly in the restaurant industry.

30% labor + 30% food costs + 30% overhead + 10% profit = menu price. That is the standard restaurant formula taught to new restauranteurs.

But that can't happen at McDonalds in particular, and it IS the fault of the Corporation yall say isn't too blame.

Look here, here's some actual franchise owners complaining that McD corporate is taking too much profit.

    http://www.businessinsider.com/mcdonalds-franchise-owners-hold-meeting-2013-8

4% of profits go right to the corporate till. And that is on top of other fees they charge.

    http://franchises.about.com/od/mostpopularfranchises/a/mcdonaldscosts.htm

My friend told me it works out to right about 8% of profits per month. Now obviously a franchise owner isn't going to open a franchise for 2%. He wants his 10% which is standard for a restaurant owner, now how does he obtain this? He pays low wages of course since raising prices would run customers off, they don't care how much profit you're making they will only pay so much for a burger.

Once again, corporate Amerca fools the 75%

of course people have done that, I've posted examples of such myself. Those people are stupid. Doesn't change the fact that "low information voter" is a catch phrase and the use of it indicates a person who let's others think for them.

Oh and let me remind you of something. Just because someone is paranoid, doesn't mean there isn't people out to get them

Only one admits they are pro business and that they believe that capitalism is the way to the best overall economic prosperity, and the other lies and claims to be against these corporate demons who are paying them millions in campaign donations. The dishonesty of the Dims is enough for me to find them repulsive.

Your ignorance and acceptance of dishonesty is the problem here Punkin.

Apparently lying, cheating, stealing, whore mongering, and other debaucheries are just fine as long as you admit that you are pro business LOL

A clear example of what is wrong with this forum. He isn't defending lying democrats, you are defending lying republicans. See the difference.

"We know they have WMD and we know where they are". Lies. Two in the same sentence.

"Affordable Care Act..." No need to go any further that was a lie, don't even need to finish the sentence.

    Both parties are the problem.

    and not just politicians

how many "conservaitves" in these min wage threads have written somethng along the lines of

"$7.25 is what flipping burgers is worth" when it DEMONSTRABLY provable that that is not the case, and that is not what the minimum wage was meant to accomplish?

    as just one example.

Neither are republicans, even though they suck the asses of a selective few of them just like their democrat counterpart. They are not conservatives either, even though they try and play one on TV for your benefit.

Newsflash: Democrats are in power. The Dem president was caught lying to the American people over 30 times.

What does any of this have to do with fast food workers?

    Admitting defeat, eh?

what the (*)(*)(*)(*)? We didn't change the subject YOUR "side" did. Primarily because your argument ON THE TOPIC is ridiculous

And what the (*)(*)(*)(*) does who's in power have to do with it anyway? The party not in power can't lie?
