So I am a life long Yanks fan, and I can honestly say that the Yanks have done little in the offseason. I like that they brought Kuroda, and Pettite back. I also like that they didn't break Martin back, not that I don't like a sub .200 batting average (for most of the year), but I think there are better options out there. My question to you is what, up to this point, has been your favorite offseason baseball trade\signing. i.e. Miami sending it's roster to Toronto, Hamilton with the Angels, etc, etc. For the heck of it, if you got some predictions let's hear them.
I wanted Craig Biggio should have received a better voting pool. I don't see him as a steroid user, and 3,000 hits isn't an easy task.
When Biggio got snubbed, I officially stopped caring about major league baseball. I understand Clemens and Bonds. But not Biggio.
Yeah, I mean, I am way too invested in baseball to stop caring. I didn't think that Biggio was a first ballot hall of famer, but I think he'll get there. There was a lot of backlash on some sports writers so I think it'll change next year. His batting line wasn't really first ballot material; .281/.363/.433. Obviously 3060 hits is something that is worthy, but he performed even worse in the post season; .234/.295/.323. I have nothing against him, and I feel he belongs in the Hall. I also really think he'll eventually get there, but I did think he deserved more this year.
