FB claims that it protects its readers from inaccurate reports by "fact checks". But in a defamation suit against FB filed by John Stossel, FB now claims its fact checks are merely opinion. But of course, we knew that all along. https://nypost.com/2021/12/13/facebook-bizarrely-claims-its-misquote-is-opinion/
I wonder if any other lawsuits could be coming and if the entire fact-checking universe could be affected:
Oh, yeah, did they check Russian collusion story? I remember posting something, don’t remember exactly what, but FB added a label to it with a link to their fact checkers who claimed the issue was taken out of context, though the fact checkers did not dispute the events in that article.
Only fools let others do their thinking for them in this day and age, and a large portion of the gullible public does that all the time. When everything the American people believe is false, we will know the success of our misinformation efforts. FB and Google are CIA assets.
FB and Twitter banned the New York Post’s Hunter Biden laptop story even though it was proven true. Twitter’s explanation was that they don’t publish “hacked” material. But the laptop wasn’t hacked. It was left abandoned at a computer repair shop by Hunter himself. Hunter never denied the authenticity of the emails.
Here's Facebook's description of how they do fact checking: https://www.facebook.com/business/help/2593586717571940?id=673052479947730
