    Mostly peaceful protests erupted in Sydney, Australia yesterday against the lockdown laws passed by the state of New South Wales in response to an outbreak of cases of COVID-19.

    Estimates of 15,000 peaceful protestors shouting "freedom", and some rioters took to the streets in defiance of the state's restrictive lockdown after approximately 140 cases per day were detected.

    A police strike force has been set up to scour all video they can find and prosecute anyone in attendance.

    The protest applied for a permit, was denied, and went ahead anyway.

    Your thoughts? Australian patriots standing up for their rights to protest and free association, or villains compromising the recovery from a pandemic?

    Can you imagine if they did that here?

    Compare this protest to the blm protests. Australia is worried about super spreaders, but here in America there was zero concern about super spreaders when blm rioted.

    You are missing the whole story, but I must commend you for sharing what the MSM will not share with Americans.

    This was no small isolated event. I think the French went off the strongest.

    People don’t seem to be happy about all the government control they voted for. Hopefully the same people, plus millions more, will demand China to be held accountable.

    On a side note, whenever there’s something on Twitter that goes against leftist narratives, I frequently get an error message saying something went wrong and I have to refresh my screen several times before I can see it. This happens on 2 computers, a Kindle, 3 iPads and a Galaxy phone.

    It’s hardly a whataboutism. The protests in Australia and riots in America should have the same impact on spreading the virus, but in America the riots didn’t cause any concern about super spreading, but down under they’re arresting people. And in Australia many of those protesters are probably vaccinated or already had the virus, which in comparison makes the blm rioting even worse.

    Less than 1% of ALL CV-19 cases came from outdoor contractions. There are NO OUTDOOR "Super Spreader Events".

    The BLM super-spreaders never received an ounce of criticism from the MSM and big tech did its best to censor all calls from medical professionals for them to stop. I recall a large Nurse's group on Facebook that got banned because they shared images asking BLM thugs to stop rioting because of the strain their super-spreading was putting on local hospitals.

    No arrested for potentially spreading a virus - see the Biosecurity act or even the more ancient NSW quarantine act which if memory serves allows them to lock your arse up almost indefinitely- see the case of Typhoid Mary (America)
