People are ****ing robots. The media doesn’t report a damn thing about the Afghanistan campaign for 20 years and all of a sudden it’s 24/7 coverage. The last few days is nothing in comparison to the failed nation building. Those who supported a Muslim ban want to take on 80,000 Arab refugees. Give me a break. How fat can the partisan get?
Unlike the vast majority of those we’ve opened our pants to, the Afghanis have legitimate asylum claims; and seeing as our actions, with full premeditation and knowledge of the outcome, are directly responsible for their situation, it is our bare minimum moral obligation to offer them such asylum. my guess is you’re angry that this is absolutely terrible for your party and none of these Afghanis are even likely to vote Democrat if/when they become American citizens so you’d prefer the media cover it all up and that these Afghanis stay home, get tortured and die. if you’re arguing for some other outcome please clarify cause that’s what it’s looking like from here.
