Finally a Republican talking some sense

What's left of his brain is probably still hungry for power and a place in history. His wife, Jill, is also probably into all the attention she gets. When you are the former president and first lady, your world can become quite dull. Look at the Carters. They have lived to be 90+ and are back in Plains, out of the limelight for years.

Beyond that, the people who control Biden are working under the false assumption that he is the only candidate who can win for them. Most incumbent presidents have big advantages when they run for re-election. They have power over spending job appointments and government contracts. They get more attention from the media. The issue that has brought them down more times than not has been the state of the economy. Biden has problems there because of inflation.

I don't what concerns the Democrats. They have 2024 in the bag. The Republicans are going to nominate Trump, who is about as popular as a Coved virus outside of his cult.

They also have Gavin Newsome who just stepped out of central casting. These days, an empty suit or a suit that is full of the wrong stuff can get elected if they belong to the Democrat Party. The Democrats control the schools, which gives them control of the electorate. Kids can't think outside of the political box these days, because the education system has built a box around them.

 

Yesterday's news was Sununu isn't going to run for president in this cycle and is not running again for Governor of New Hampshire.
Said it's time for a new Republican Governor.

Smart move if he does have his sights on the White House to wait until the Trump swamp drains.
