    I agree. Springtime is right around the corner for us in the Sonoran desert which means rattlesnakes, scorpions, Gila monsters and the dreaded jumping cholla. Ever seen what a patch of jumping cholla can do?

    What is interesting is that the very same leftists politicizing this event are accusing Right of Center posters of politicizing by responding with well-reasoned observations and the occasional indisputable fact.

    He was talking about deaths from a virus which is more pertinent to this discussion than someone giving the odds of Trump cancelling the election which can be found on page one of this thread.

    We all hope for the best outcome.

    The CDC and administration are correctly telling us to prepare for a spread of the virus, but at this "snapshot in time" people should not change their day-to-day routines out of fear of the virus. Rates and spread are low right now. They're doing a great job giving an update presser every day or two as the situation evolves.

    And Obama was an Ebola scientist before he won the presidency. :rolleyes: I'm sure Biden and Sanders are well-versed in handling novel infectious diseases.

    If you listen to the frequent updates coming from the administration (not from your preferred news outlets) all our experts are working on this and they are working with the experts from all over the globe.

    Statistics are relevant when some never-Trumpers are politicizing deaths. Apparently some influenza deaths are more important than others . . . for political reasons. It will be interesting to hear our leftists explain why that is with them while simultaneously telling us why -- if they are so panicked over the Corona Virus -- they absolutely would not countenance closing the border so as to prevent Corona Virus infected illegals from entering this nation.

    9 have recovered, 1 has died, the rest are still in limbo, nether recovering or dying.

    That's a a fairly high mortality rate, but with few numbers. Larger numbers may reduce this mortality rate.
