Regarding flat earth, I had previously posted it in the "political opinions and beliefs", section. Everybody kept screaming at me to put in the "conspiracy", section. And the monitor's of this site always removed it into the "conspiracy" section.

Trump colluding with the Russians, is by definition a "conspiracy". So why the hypocrisy? Why isn't the Russia, Trump, "conspiracy" moved into the "conspiracy" section. Or are you guys going to ignore such hypocrisy?

Not many people go into the "conspiracy" section. Because they believe conspiracy theorists are nut cases (thanks government). Yes, they want you thinking that, so you never question them. So I decided to put "flat earth" in the political opinions and beliefs section, to gain as much attention as possible. What is wrong with that?

    "Conspiracy"
    con·spir·a·cy
    kənˈspirəsē/
    noun
    noun: conspiracy; plural noun: conspiracies
    1. a secret plan by a group to do something unlawful or harmful.
"a conspiracy to destroy the government"
      synonyms: plot, scheme, plan, machination, ploy, trick, ruse, subterfuge;
      informalracket
"a conspiracy to manipulate the results"
      • the action of plotting or conspiring.
"they were cleared of conspiracy to pervert the course of justice"
        synonyms: plotting, collusion, intrigue, connivance, machination, collaboration;
        treason
        "conspiracy to commit murder"
Until it is confirmed..........It's just a "conspiracy theory". Once confirmed, it's no longer a theory, rather the truth.

Such a lie would be the greatest of mankind's history. I only want the people to know. I only did it for you.

Except that the flat earth narrative you spew is not a theory it is a comic book fiction which you preach as a lie.

At least it has the merit of being a theory which your idiotic assertions do not have

A conspiracy theory is an explanation of an event or situation that invokes an unwarranted conspiracy, generally one involving an illegal or harmful act carried out by government or other powerful actors. Conspiracy theories often produce hypotheses that contradict the prevailing understanding of history or simple facts. The term is a derogatory one.[3]

According to the political scientist Michael Barkun, conspiracy theories rely on the view that the universe is governed by design, and embody three principles: nothing happens by accident, nothing is as it seems, and everything is connected.[1]:3–4 Another common feature is that conspiracy theories evolve to incorporate whatever evidence exists against them, so that they become, as Barkun writes, a closed system that is unfalsifiable, and therefore "a matter of faith rather than proof".

    Flat Earth

Flat Earth theory first emerged in nineteenth-century England, despite the Earth's spherical nature having been known even to the ancient Greeks. 'Flat-earther' conspiracy theorists hold that planet Earth is not a sphere, and that evidence has been faked or suppressed to hide the fact that is instead a disc, or a single infinite plane. NASA is often said to be implicated in the conspiracy. Other claims may include such allegations as that GPS devices are rigged in order to make aircraft pilots wrongly believe they are flying around a globe

    That is why!

Is that why you kept telling me to put in the "conspiracy" section? Because it's not one?

You have no clue do you? GPS is ground based. 99% of the world's communication is underwater sea cables (you think the other 1% is satellites)? The first ones were laid in the late 1800's. If planes relied on satellites, they would constantly lose signal. You know, the most important time you need your phone, there is no service. Why do you think everywhere you look you see these?

And "The Flat Earth Society", is not the mainstream thought in flat earth. "The Flat Earth Society", claims the earth is moving upwards in the exact manner in which "gravity" works. 99% of flat earthers do not agree with "The Flat Earth Society". In fact it's government owned. They deliver such thoughts to keep people thinking how dumb it is.

And yes, I would agree a conspiracy theory "in the making", can neither be proven right or wrong, however at some point it will be. The "conspiracy" of JFK. Will eventually come to light.

    Sorry wrong.

GPS is satellite based and satellites are where the vast majority of communications come from.

Your claims are simply stupid lies.

It does not matter what mainstream thought is or where it comes from for flat earthers they are all proven stupid, childish, dishonest and wrong.

And there was no JFK conspiracy Oswald actually acted alone

I was not debating your silly flat earth, I was answering your question, why is it in the conspiracy section? Rather than be civil, you replied I did not have a clue, I do not like ****s like you.

    No I am not.

The premise of your question is that flat earth crap deserves the same respect as any other news worthy theory.

    It does not.

The Trump Russia collusion is by definition a "conspiracy". So why is it not in the conspiracy section?

It may be eventually but for now it is still at least worthy of discussion and debate.

Flat earth garbage is worthy of neither and no amount of whining from you can change that fact

Read what is generally considered a Conspiracy Theory, which I provided, that should give you a clue.

Actually I said, "you have no clue do you"? And my intent was not disrespect. You actually provided a good reply.

Flat earthers have yet to produce an intelligible map, much less a complete theory.

Ok fair enough, I was just trying to provide a reason. I have no wish to have an extended argument..

Flat Earth, goes against what most perceive to be a simple fact, the earth is round, it suggests a high level cover up by politicians and NASA. So rightly or wrongly it is generally considered a Conspiracy Theory.
The Russia collusion idea does not meet the criteria, it is about an alleged conspiracy rather than an accepted Conspiracy Theory.

I provided the definition of "conspiracy". What is "generally considered", is irrelevant. It has a "definition".

It does not have to have a high level cover up by politicians. For they simply believe it's a ball as well. The cover up, actually only needs a few "in the know".

Conspiracy has a definition, but so does Conspiracy Theory, like Science has a definition and Science Fiction has a definition
