I mean, where are all the STEEL tools and weapons supposed to go, if shtf, dudes? Stone (and bone) tools and weapons break very easily, and are very inefficent. Many areas have no workable stone, and it would be well worth your while to either walk to where there's metal tools (or at least, steel to make them from) or if that's not feasible for where you'll be if shtf, then you'd better either carry them or have them cached there. Cause you are going to need them.
