Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis Joins YouTube Alternative ‘Rumble’ Following Google Censorship

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) has reportedly joined a growing YouTube alternative called Rumble in response to Google’s recent removal of a video featuring DeSantis and a number of Ivy League-educated medical experts discussing the negative effects of ongoing lockdowns.

Reclaim The Net reports that Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis has joined the growing video sharing platform Rumble and created a new channel on the platform where he plans to post video updates and live streams. The decision to join the platform comes shortly after DeSantis found some of his own content censored by Google-owned YouTube.


YouTube recently removed a video of DeSantis discussing the negative effects of ongoing pandemic-related lockdowns with a number of Ivy League-educated medical experts.

This is very good news. The more elected Republican leaders and base citizens leave You Tube over their censorship, the better. What You Tube does to demonetize and censor conservative and Christian thought and ideas is over the top. Removing a video of De Santis interviewing Ivy League educated medical professionals is just ridiculous.

 

The conservative and Christian exodus from big tech social media to Rumble, Duck Duck Go, MeWe, Gab, Parler, etc. goes on.

 

So far I haven't had any censorship from big tech (that I know of). Doesn't mean it's not happening just I'm not aware of it.

 

Many of us populist conservatives who are also evangelical Christians are very well aware of it, many personally so.

First you might need to cite exactly what was worthy of cancellation at the news conference? And please cross reference that with why any stories about Hunter Biden were instantly deleted weeks leading up to the election, while ANY story no matter how ridiculous was NOT censored about Trump for 4 years?

 

As an agnostic former Catholic and Libertarian voter who pays attention to current events, I am very aware of the widespread censorship going on in this country today.

DeSantis is doing the right thing leaving the censored sites for those sites where freedom of speech is still honored.

UTube censored him because he sat down with scientists and doctors who dissent from the Official Covid Narrative.

 

The teachings of Christ are antithetical to the populist conservative movement.

"You shall love your neighbor as yourself ...". There is no "unless" in that teaching.

 

Because Trump supporters live in an alternate reality. Time to snap out of it before they're left behind.

Christian and Catholic charities and missionaries, house, feed, inoculate, educate, cloth and comfort millions of people, through private donations and volunteerism. There is no conflict between populist conservative nationalism and Christianity. They are separate realms the political and the religious but there is nothing in conservative populist nationalism that can’t be fit within the bounds of being an observant Christian as well.
