    Figures, Breitfart

First off, NYC actually grew in population in the last two years, and secondly, the State as a whole is down half a million, but that number has not only begun to stabilize but also a large number of those exiting were snowbirds, they stay long enough elsewhere to obtain residency and then schlep back and forth throughout the year

If you went to legitimate sources you would understand the facts, just saying

One thing that is especially hurting California is the Bum situation. You can't go anywhere without seeing masses of drugged out bums everywhere. California ****ed the dog when they decriminalized narcotics.

You used to be able to throw them in jail for at least a month or two where they would have a chance to clean up. Not anymore. Now they can steal everything not bolted down at night, and **** on the sidewalk and harass us by day. What a mess.

People migrate for jobs, homelessness might be a quality of life issue, but not one that normally cause someone to relocate to another State

You’re going to have to back that up because every story I’ve heard shows people leaving NYC and it got really bad during the China virus restrictions, lockdowns and mandates.

I was going to say that people are leaving because it's too expensive to live in New York State. But I compared prices of apartments and homes in the net-growing destination states, but it looks like housing is expensive everywhere.

People are such complainers, complainers with no substance.

I did check the average property tax by state, and states like New York DO have higher property taxes in the $5,000 range vs $0-$1000 for the net-positive destination states. But then there are rich people who live in the beautiful areas, such as the Hamptons on Long Island, New York. Millionaires live there! That throws the calculations off a bit.

In the last election of New York State, there was a proposal to issue bonds for paying for a greener New York. Of course, I voted yes because I viewed it as a way to clean up the place after major storms flooded up the place a few years ago and nothing was done about the damage. So, yes, we have programs to pay for.

I don't know where this is going. But New York State is large and has a lot of infrastructure to pay for. How do the rural states survive abandoning their infrastructure and not enforcing code standards and regulations?

It turns out that Florida isn't so affordable after all:
Tenants across Florida are struggling to afford rent

Of course not. The rich that have left NY and Cali drive up the price of homes in the areas that they move to. Then they contaminate it with their liberalism that eventually leads to higher taxes in the states they move to.

Or the exodus isn't actually about cost of living as much as is thought. I heard that people move in cycles. This time might be old people looking for retirement communities.

Good for them. Their ruling class elites deserve it. They're like parasites that don't know when to stop sucking.

And when parasites kill the host their s*** out of luck

The source is legitimate and if the left expects to communicate with red America it will only happen through Breitbart, NewsMax, Just the News, Fox, OAN, etc or it won’t happen at all. The alternative media is here to stay whether MBFC or big tech social media like it or not. They reported on what the former Obama official said to MSNBC news. Do you dispute that he said it or are you just upset that Breitbart actually reported it?

California has 1/8 or 3/24 of the nation’s total population and has 1/3 or 8/24 of the nation’s homeless population
