So, a common conspiracy theory is that Covid-19 vaccines have fostered the emergence of the SARS-CoV-2 variants, by selecting them out of the previous pool of strains. Well, that's utterly ridiculous. Here is the month of emergence of the four main concerning strains of the SARS-CoV-2, the Alpha, Beta, Gamma, and Delta, respectively out of the UK, South Africa, Brazil, and India, formerly known respectively as B.1.1.7; B.1.351; P.1; and B.1.617.2: Earliest documented samples: Alpha: September 2020 Beta: May 2020 Gamma: November 2020 Delta: October 2020 As you probably know, vaccination campaigns started at the earliest in December of 2020. Short of a time travel machine which last I checked hasn't been invented yet, the vaccines could not have originated the main variants. They all emerged before the vaccines were distributed to the population. Take Delta, the now most prevalent variant. Its genome sequence was first uploaded to the tracking agency GISAID on October 5, 2020, out of India. Vaccination in India started precisely on January 16, 2021, that is, almost 3 and a half months later. Not to forget, when a variant is first spotted, you can be sure that it had been circulating silently in the population for a while already. So, the months above reflect the first time they were spotted, not the first time they started infecting humans, which was probably at least a couple of months before that. So, the vaccines would have needed a rather energetic time travel machine, to go back to the past and make these variants. LOL, conspiracy theories are so ridiculous.... Oh, and before you say "nobody is saying that" yes, it's been said, and we have an example right here on PF. A poster here has posted the notion that the Delta variant was caused by the vaccines.
But, will you also admit that since the most highly vaccinated countries on the planet are around 80% with cases still surging, that there is no way to stop mutations? I mean most mutations are actually happening in other countries, not the US. For one thing, the vaccines seem to do very little at stopping the spread of Delta, so, even the vaccinated can be responsible for mutations. Maybe not the vaccines themselves, but the fact that since the vaccines don't stop the spread of Delta that mutations would happen, even in the vaccinated. And since no country on the planet is vaccinated more than 80%, mutations are going to happen. And, since we have no vaccines for children under 12, assuming the vaccinated stopped mutations (which they don't), unvaccinated children would lead to mutations. And, even if vaccines actually stopped the spread of Delta and the newest mutations, we would have to vaccinate every person on the planet in a very short time frame in order to stop more mutations - all of these things are virtually impossible. Will you admit all of that?
In addition; The Lambda Variant, identified in Peru, August 2020 The Mu Variant, identified in Columbia, Jan 2021
The name of the country is Colombia. Yes, the vaccines arrived in Colombia on February 17, 2021, when the Mu Variant was already there. Even the latest variant of interest was already present before vaccination! https://www.paho.org/en/news/1-3-2021-colombia-receives-first-vaccines-arriving-americas-through-covax#:~:text=The COVAX vaccines add to,bilateral agreements with the producers.
In this post, I taught people how to look up a GISAID report of the Delta variant there in India, before vaccination started there. http://www.politicalforum.com/index...unity-by-april.585284/page-10#post-1072921920
In this post, and so many others, the pharma perspective is presented, and repeated and repeated again, rather as indoctrination goes.
