I find it troubling that you seem to need more. If what I posted didn't make the point for you, I don't believe there is any help for the situation...

    Pros and Cons

Pros; Manufacturing jobs are coming back to the U.S.

Cons; Today's manufacturing jobs pay so little that workers depend on government aid to feed their families.

I've been a volunteer at a regional food bank, and according to a study, the average hourly earnings of our clients is $12.50.

That is pretty bad for 2019; I was earning that much thirty years ago.

Ford's move to scrap Mexico plant benefits robots, not workers ...

You do understand that Mark Fields is no longer CEO of the Ford Motor Company, and the Focus has been cancelled from the North American market. (Trump's trade war policies played a role in that!)

My god this thread is comedy GOLD

First they post an article from 2017 when OBAMA was pres somehow claiming that Fords CEO is claiming its because of Trumps policies. Then when show that the articel is from when Obama was president, they are still trying to make it about Trump, claiming that he is stil somehow winning.

The the best part.......Ford actually moved the plant in Michigan to Mexico a while back. And your post is spot on.

Trumpism is a f’n religion akin to Moonies.......”dear leader must be given all credit”......

But it is so much fun to watch the Trumpers blindly jump on the bandwagon of an announcement that went terribly wrong as a breakthrough for Trump.

    Is it terribly wrong?

I mean I’m responding to someone that seems to want to give credit to Obama because it happened while he was still president.

At the time, the credit was given to Trump and the new incoming policies, by Ford.

So it doesn’t matter if Obama was president. They(Ford) credited the incoming admin.

No, not terribly wrong, just terribly stupid.
Not only were they sucked in by an out of date thread that turned out to be terribly wrong, but was written before Spanky was President.

The incoming administration talked a good game and instead chased corporations out with his trade policies.
