Fox News uses satirical news sites as sources too often for it to be by mistake

A little faith in humanity is restored with this thread. Two years ago all you would have heard is "Fox is the only fair and honest news network".

They do allow both sides to speak their piece, unless they work for them. (In the sad Juan Williams case.)

Last I heard, Fox is a cable channel. 'Lamestream media' are networks. Network news gets ten times the viewership of cable news. The fact that Fox cable beats the pants off other cable news is sort of a "who cares" situation. Those who crave a conservative bend to the news are going to Fox news in droves. Good for them. I want everyone to have their point of view honored.

But it is quite disingenuous to say that Fox viewership versus other cable viewership is a measure of the political will of the US electorate. It is simply a poll of those that are so dissatisfied with apolitical news that they feel a need to re-enforce their political views. Democrats have the white house. Republicans have the Congress. Rachel Maddow isn't as necessary to liberals as Rush, or Glenn, or Sean is to conservatives.
