Fox News weekend host Rachel Campos-Duffy joked about the attack on Paul Pelosi that fractured his skull and put him in the hospital.

Appearing on Friday's Jesse Watters Primetime, Campos-Duffy and guest host Pete Hegseth criticized some of those whom President Joe Biden awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom earlier in the day. Those honored included former Speaker Nancy Pelosi, former Vice President Al Gore, and former Secretary of State John Kerry.

Campos-Duffy offered a list of alternatives.

"So, I thought, America's frat boys, they could use the Medal of Freedom," she said. "Donald J. Trump, he never gives up on America. Elon Musk for absolutely caring about freedom of speech."

She also suggested the award be given to Kid Rock and the U.S. Border Patrol.

"That's a great list," Hegseth replied. "But it's probably more likely to go to Paul Pelosi, Susan Rice, and Gavin Newsom. So, I think your list is correct, but a little off-brand for Big Joe."

"Well, maybe Paul Pelosi needs the hammer instead of the medal," she responded.

"It's metal," Hegseth said while chucking. "We wish him well. We wish him well."

All I can say about Rachel Compos-Duffy, the wife of a former republican member of Congress, is that she's been completely indoctrinated into the cruelest, most violent part of the former Republican Party. The GOP should add a tagline to their acronym, 'Cruelty is the point'. If Fox had a shred of integrity, they would have fired her immediately. But no, making fun of Paul Pelosi's brutal attack by a man with a hammer fracturing his skull, is fair game for jokes from their hosts.

 

Just another despicable, right- wing cruel, religious attention whore.

 

Imagine how much worse this would be if people actually existed who took Campos-Duffy's brain diarrhea seriously?

On this board we had two threads about Pelosi; one about his car crash and the other about him getting hammered. In each of those threads there were jokes and it wasn't a big deal. But when someone needs to wake up outraged every day and Morning Joe gives it to them, even though the joke was no big deal, the left follows in lockstep and is obligingly outraged.

I would love to hear your arguments for why any of these troglodytes should be treated differently. A mildly funny joke about a hammer attack is nothing compared to the life ruination tactics I have seen applied to truth tellers for the past decade. The big difference is that in Cheney's case, he wasn't deliberately trying to kill the guy.
