Yep and that can apply to a private home so anyone who supports such civil arrest better be prepared to self-insure their homes if the rioters start fires that ultimately burns theirs down.

Still in bed... It's too close to the end of the month and the money has been spent. Look for it to begin around 4:30 or 5 after they've had time to get a couple six packs in.

Nah, they did the leaders first and they are winning, so the underlings will win too.

Please address for us what part of that statement is incorrect? I could cite you a million sources that will prove your ridiculous accusation false. Are you challenging the burden of proof?

Please correct me since you're the barracks lawyer here

I'll concede the point that most insurance these days does not automatically directly exclude "riots", the did in the past as I recall. I just read my homeowners and it does exclude "terrorist acts" as it does with acts of war, but it also excludes "Destructive Acts"

"We do not insure loss or damage directly or indirectly caused by, arising out of or resulting from any destructive act directed against civilian, military or governmental personnel or property by any domestic, or foreign person(s), organization(s), association(s), entity or entities, government or any quasi-government body. This exclusion includes by way of example but is not limited to war, undeclared war, civil war, terrorism, insurrection, seizure, rebellion and revolution, all whether or not by military or paramilitary personnel and including direct and indirect consequences or these including contamination. This exclusion applies even if the loss or damage is sustained by property not intended or expected. This exclusion do not include acts of vandalism and malicious mischief.

So was it an insurrection against the government and police, terrorism or vandalism and malicious mischief? One could even make the case it was a "civil war"

And of course the fact that business even with insurance suffered financial losses some of which could not be overcome. So saying that they have insurance so all is well is specious at best, yes they better have insurance but that is not going to cover all loss.

If they don't have a policy that covers riots, then they don't have coverage now do they? Most business insurance would include coverage of riots and plate glass damage, especially if the business has any financing as most lenders would require the coverage.

I don't know about where you live, but in So.Cal ALL insurances exclude damage done by war or civil insurrection.

i am not talking about the freddie gray case, i was referring to your statement about truth and justice in a courtroom. truth and justice is hit or miss in a courtroom, and the outcomes are not based on truth and justice, but money.

Actually one of the articles I read mentioned a plate glass company and that some simply did not have the coverage because of the expense. Let's not forget that most of those business were small mom and pop stores not big chain stores.

If they can't afford it, then they don't have coverage do they? Which was my original post, just in case you got lost.
