    "RAISE A CHILD ? ! ? ! ....NO WAY ! !

    ....Raise a child when there are so many wonderful, loyal & devoted dogs out there who are always bursting with unconditional love no matter what you do!?!?!?

    Please allow me to provide a few good reasons why that:
    won't even cover the cost of Valium & Single Malt Irish whisky you'll need for a week.

    1. During one of my many well deserved spankings as a kid, my poor, loving and eternally suffering mother mother tearfully cried: "When you have children, I hope they're at least half as bad as you are!"

    2. Futile attempts at "Grounding", spankings with leather straps, hickory switches had no effect on the explosions, fires, indoor target practice (firearms, cross bows, etc.).

    3. I suppose you have an ample supply of flashlight batteries that you've accumulated. Well, you may find your self spending $1,754 a month just on maintaining your supply before you figure out why they disappear

    4. My poor father had the same "Ample flashlight battery supply" delusion until the advent of the flashlight battery firing home-made cannons I made using 1/4 sticks of dynamite as a propellant.

    It was very effective in blowing my brother's "Tree House" out of the sky. Driveway gravel wrapped in aluminum foil served just as well as anti-personnel charges when he, his friends & his ex-"Tree Fort" were in ruins on the ground.

    5. The next afternoon, a cord of poor, old dad's nicely cut, split & stacked firewood went up in smoke when our Molotov-Coctail "R & D" Trials went amiss.

    6. My poor, loving and eternally suffering father even found it more "Cost Effective" to invest in an Auto Body Repair shop than to deal with the expense of repairing / replacing all the cars & motorcycles my 2 younger brothers & I used to wreck a few years later.

    A bit later & upon the stern recommendation of a Juvenile Court Judge, I ended up joining the Army soon after the "Tet Offensive" & almost everyone was soon headed to S.E. Asia.

    I remember my poor mother cheerfully hugging me just before heading to Ft. Benning for Basic Training & saying: "Thank God you're going into the Army where you'll be nice & safe."


    Good Luck with that
    but, PLEASE consider winning the Lottery before
    you decide to enjoy the delights of "raising a child"


    If you don't lock up your expensive whisky, don't be surprised when it suddenly LOOKS like whisky but turns out to have "mysteriously" turned to tea & little "FreshAir" Jr. is hanging out in the basement drunk as a Lord......
