I see reuters, FOX, BBC, Globe and Mail...... It was there, just few noticed because they are too wraped up in Trump/hillary shenanigans.

Absolutely he should have known. Aleppo has been referenced now for almost 32 months. It is the largest city in Syria and where the war between 2 sides with whom we should have nothing to do is raging. It's like someone asking "what's Paris"....

Polling internals show clearly that Johnson pulls a little more from Clinton than Trump and Stein pulls Greenies who otherwise would not vote. The Stein-Factor is negligible at best.

As tempting as you find it to speak on behalf of others, I haven't found this to be the case. There are many undecideds who are considering 3rd party candidates, feeling alienated by the primary parties. There are many #neverTrump Republicans who favor Johnson because of his stances, not just as a "protest vote." This isn't surprising. The Republican party tried courting libertarians for years, and now they've put forward one of the least libertarian-minded candidates possible.

This is not some obscure city. It has been in the news for years because of the civil war. Not only that. It is a Unesco World Heritage Site. It was also conquered by every major power in antiquity and the Crusaders. I mean... You have to be clueless about history and the news not to know what Aleppo is.

What exactly do people learn in the US when they study? I mean... Trump supposedly went to the finest schools and he is clueless.
Gary Johnson is supposed to have studied political science?! How is that possible? What is political science in the US? The last 150 years of history and politics?
If we include the rest of the Republican nominees I doubt a single one would have known Aleppo. Maybe Bush?

    Worrisome.

Bingo. Which is a shame. Finally getting some decent stage-space during the election and flubbing that badly. At least he is appropriately ashamed of himself, rather than trying to colorfully reposition what happened or blame the media. This badly damages my willingness to vote for him, but bolsters how I feel about him a decent human being.

Some undecideds are of course considering 3rd parties or staying home, their numbers are low and they are irrelevant as their ultimate "decisions" won't affect the outcome of the elections. People supporting Johnson's stances are by definition libertarians, not republicans...

At any rate, as always, the overwhelming majority of the undecideds actually want their vote to count and will end up choosing Hillary or Trump. It's their decisions that will decide the outcome of the election.

There are plenty of actual Republicans who are serious about, for example, the whole concept of decreased spending. That's one of many stances that may lead them to choose Johnson over Trump, and it is a big one.

Yep, and Trump's handlers have done a good job of tranquilizing him over the past few weeks, so he has a much better chance of winning moderate independents than when he was free to speak his mind.

I really doubt this will have a significant impact. One candidate said he wants to go after the families of terrorists, the other worked over a decade in government and didn't know that c is for classified.

That's irrelevant, I'm not, I'm like the people in Australia or France or Germany or Japan, I'm not willing to go help, and I'm not willing to spend my money there, like they do, I'll ignore it and say let somebody else do it or they can die, NOT MY PROBLEM TO FIX.

I have to disagree on your first point. I doubt there's a single republican expecting to reduce spending by voting for Johnson given that he has zero chance of becoming president. It's still a protest vote.

And of course a sedated, banned from Twitter Trump is a much stronger candidate.... He's wiped out a 10% deficit by keeping his mouth shut and staying away from computers lol

I'm not a Libertarian but this is a small issue compared to trump the racist's idiocy. trump the racist didn't even know about Russia and the Ukraine.

And at least Johnson had the decency and good sense to admit his mistake...certainly something trump the racist would never be capable of.

Frankly, if it ends up getting him in the news cycle...it was probably a good flub to make. He needs more media coverage. Up until now, only trump the racist got in the news for being a moron everyday...might as well spread it around.

Trump posts stuff on Facebook every day. His people do it for him, but he approves it.
