No, germany is an economic giant. USA cant threaten us. She tries to threaten small and weak nations. Since Germany counters her threat it will be interesting.

I was just going by what Scamander said and even if that is true about Germany it remains true that that is what Haley is trying to do.

I noticed that Trump apparently waited two weeks to speak to May after she said she wanted to speak to him and he phoned her on the day she had just got some bad news on financial services in the EU. I thought possibly that was intentional. That was just a few days ago while this was going on.

Germany is an economic giant in Europe but is still less than 1/5th the economy of the USA.

If you add the fact that we grow with 2%, have zero unemployment, make no new debt and reduce old debt while still having massive budget surplus...

Just as the majority of Americans didn't vote for Trump, the VAST majority of Americans oppose his moronic folly to move the US Embassy to Jerusalem:

"POLL: By 2-to-1, Americans Oppose Moving U.S. Embassy to Jerusalem"

    http://www.washingtonsblog.com/2017/12/poll-2-1-americans-oppose-moving-u-s-embassy-jerusalem.html

EXCERPT "A reliable scientific poll of 2,000 Americans, taken during 1-6 November 2017 — just a month before U.S. President Donald Trump announced that America’s Embassy will move to Jerusalem from Tel Aviv — showed that 63% of Americans were opposed to the move, and 31% supported it. Here was the question, as asked:

Q61. Having thought about it, do you support or oppose the United States immediately moving its embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem?

    Total Rep Dem Ind

    1. Support 31% 49% 15% 28%

    2. Oppose 63% 44% 81% 60%"

Well he's going to run into problems with China, France, Germany not sure about the UK... May sucked up to Trump from day 1.

Regarding your comments on Kushner, not sure I agree but will not disregard... you never know with Trump. What I will say regarding Kushner is that this "blackmail" effort from Trump to the UN tells me that the Jerusalem move was not very well thought out, not by Kushner, Trump nor Haley. What did they think the rest of the world was going to do... they didn't think, because now Trump and Haley is upset about a UN vote they should have anticipated.

When a future Democrat administration at Washington will decide to move US embassy to Jerusalem all the world with thank the American wise decision ...

This is not a problem with the decision to move the embassy .... but a problem with Trump.

He's not that welcomed around, actually. May be because he is not a politician? He acts ... in this he is similar to Berlusconi. Everybody hated him in Italy. But ... in the first year at Rome he made some researches and he discovered that about the 50% of the police personnel in Italy spends time doing curious office activities ... [was homeland minister wasting money?].

In politics outsiders are not welcome.

And I want to slightly correct my previous comment; I think Trump is trying to elicit sympathy for a Jewish cause. (Read; his Jewish son in law.)

    Meaning Trump is suggesting;
Look, I am being nice for the Jewish people, now I expect that people be nice to my Jewish son in law. (For people read; Mueller)

Consider; What is Trumps FIRST AND ONLY priority? To stay in power at all cost and get away with the crimes that brought him there. (Which apparently feature Kushner.)

THIS is how he goes about that, manipulative wise.

If Trump is seen as the saviour of the Jews, it will make it harder for Mueller to attack his son in law.

Thus Trump, thinking he has public sympathy on his side, feels more empowered to attack Muller. (Or first condemn Mueller for attacking his JEWISH son in law. And then fire him.)

Crazy assumption? Not in Trumps mind.

For sure Trump doesn't give a sh*t about moving the US embassy to Jerusalem. I know that he promised this a long time ago. But now he's just using it as an attempt to undermine Mueller, if and when the
    indictment of Kushner arrives.

I don't believe it? Germany is finally taking a stance on its own. I bet Britain goes along with Washington.

It's not Trump. He was forced to get rid of all the people that supported his policies, and he's stuck now with the deep state.

As I said before, Trump's problem is his son in law. You can get rid of your son if you don't agree with him because there is usually a rapport, but how do you get rid of your son in law without having it affect your daughter?

From the inside, Israel sometimes feels just like one big village. And yet big powers seem always to be in the clash with each other because of it.

I guess you think Trump supporters have credibility? I was born during the Truman presidency and I've lived through a lot of presidents. Trump is the bottom of the barrel. I didn't think I would ever see someone disgrace the United States like Richard Milhous Nixon, but Trump isn't fit to kiss Nixon's arse.

Do you even have an idea what you're talking about? USA owes China over over 1 trillion dollars alone. USA doesn't make anything really. Most jobs are over seas.

One question, my ferocious friend - should United States continue providing financial assistance to these countries that vote against US interests and if you think so... ****ing why?

Yes, it is time US should stop chewing gum and start taking numbers. Well done, Mr. President. Have a round of golf on us :)

With Trump in the White House, I don’t really give a ****. Let them all cast their useless votes, and I do hope we take their numbers and cut their financial assistance. Give me one good reason we should not?
