I think we'll find that inhabital planets will be plentifull in our galaxy.

I dont think getting people willing to go will be a problem, nor finding people who want to stay.

    here:

i got lost at those lines too.

what makes you think people living 1000+ years will make
them forget Allah(God)? and do you think you will run away
from your own thoughts, because you switch planets?

you take yourself wherever you go.

and Allah (God) is with you.
just like he created earth, he created the universe; all matter.

do you think by living, seeing, thus knowing more; you will
less likely to find Allah (God)?

Allah (God) gave us enough time for a trial.
    use it wisely.

    Allah :fart:

When humans can tinker with their own chromosomes, to extend life, many people will see that we are playing 'god'. Once we are successful, people will see that 'god' is just not needed.

    you need Allah (God).
Allah (God) does not in need of anything.
he is beyond matter and time, he created them.

i've heard people who froze themselves.
because scientists told them they'll wake them up
from their cells... and revive them... when the technology
is adequate. people believed that. but they refused to believe
    in the resurrection day...

    sure...
    refrigerate me up scotty.
    one thing is forgotten though...

how will they "make" the soul?

i love this part of the qur'an:

that obsession of man about eternity...
    living forever, cheating time.

we are eternal beings for sure, in material bodies.
the merge of eternal and transient.

    next life is eternal.
    not this one.

    hush... :)
    patience and good deed.
    keep the faith.

    time is relative.
    and there is no escape.
