Glenn Greenwald resigns from the Intercept following dispute over Biden story

    As a disinterested observer, Greenwald is either telling the truth as best he knows it, or he is telling a falsehood.

    Maybe I'm wrong, but I believe he is telling the truth. It is brutal because it offends the sensibilities of those believing his friend Jeremy, who I happen to strongly admire, having read one of his books.

    It is obviously a difficult one to read. I also respect Aaron Mate and he came out on Greenwald's side. The first thing I can remember reading about this was that they wanted him to put in sources. If you are wanting to print something which people cannot call 'fake news' then you must be able to back up what you say. After that you can give any opinion you like. I think Greenwald treated this in a muddy way as the The Majority Report said making inuendos. That is pretty much propaganda. Another criticism was that when he does not like someone he tends to consider them corrupt - that suggests motivation.
