We may find the Creator the same way the robots in Westworld found their Creator. Having watched the first two seasons of Westworld on DVDs from the library, I am beginning to think we are just “robots” created for the amusement of guests who may be walking among us. Humanity cannot learn from history because we are programmed not to: we are trapped in a loop of repeated story lines. When our leaders see evidence of a coming catastrophe, be it Nine Eleven or climate change, they are programmed to say, "Doesn't look like anything to me." Perhaps a rogue programmer (Satan?) is leaving us clues to our predicament that will eventually prompt us to rebel against God and the guests and kill them.
As usual Robert, some interesting and very thought-provoking speculations and novel perspectives. I think you will need something just a little more tangible to give some support to that theory, though. If that were true, how for instance would one go about trying to "escape"?
Wow!!!! I have to admit that near death experiencer Christian Andreason reports that he met Dr. Albert Einstein during his brush with death and saw Dr. Einstein working on what sure looked like computer screens?! http://www.allaboutchristian.com/spirituality/ (Christian Andreason, chapter three)
Good points! So how did Dr. Einstein make it into one of the levels of heaven if he had such a dim view of scripture during the last months of his lifetime? I don't know for certain........ but Atheist Mellen Benedict during his near death experience saw a being of light and started asking good questions on top of good questions....... and did not run away from the light as others did during their brushes with death. One of the keys to making it into one of the heavenly realms seems to be a willingness to admit our errors and sins during this lifetime. Former Atheist Howard Storm was sent back after his brush with death and his honesty and humility to admit to how messed up he had been before his near death experience seems to be a major key in why he was given such an important mission in life. https://www.near-death.com/religion/christianity/howard-storm.html#a03 3.
