Those children often go on to contract HIV and die few years after their birth in many parts of the world. The almighty does nothing. Across the world, innocent people are routinely dragged into wars they don't even understand and killed in the crossfire. Yahweh remains idle. And you expect me to believe that this deity gives a damn if two consenting adults of the same sex enter into a romantic relationship. Not only that, but you feel the need to prance around doing god's will, which according to you is to aggravate other people about their romantic status. God's will, according to you, has nothing to do with helping people in actually bad situations. So you go home afterwards patting yourself on the back while some others feel kind of bad about themselves because of their sexual orientation. Children continue to be raped. Innocents are still consumed in napalm fire. Babies die of diseases that their brains will never develop enough to comprehend. Good job letting that christian light shine. EDIT: I feel the need to clarify, because we live in a time without a sense of irony, that this is not intended as a personal attack against anyone and all references to 'you' are directed at an entirely abstract and nonexistent personification of meaningless feel-good evangelical activism. This post was written solely to make a point about how trivial such acts are in the face of much larger issues.
You assume much, belief in a Dirty or God or gods etc... Is a personal matter. I don't impose my beliefs on anyone, neither does a supreme being, mankind decided to control their own destiny and is paying the price, it is our own look out now.
If I was all-powerful and I had any sense of morality, I would do something to stop children from being raped.
I feel the same way Brother, as Medical it broke my heart, to see children suffer so, Also sad to say that there was nobody around to save me from that horrible person, when I was only 9 years old.
