Recipes from years gone by. Also, a great website. http://www.archive.org/stream/goldmedalflour00washrich#page/n1/mode/2up
Luv it. One of my fav cookbooks was put out by the Jr League of Tyler, Texas. Recipes from the days traveling salesmen might stop by rural homes with rare treats like cocoa or lemons. Broken down by weekday suppers, Sunday dinners and holiday dishes. Look forward to browsing the Gold Metal cookbook. Good stuff.
Some things dont change... making a pot of beef stew today and, yes, I dusted the meat wirh Gold Medal flour before browning. Thats what you call staying power.
