What did Bud expect to gain by making their actions and decisions political. Simply asking how is it purely political? What did they expect to gain?

Can you show proof that Bud intentionally violated their fiduciary responsibility? How is taking on an LGBTQXCSKN as a spokesman , spokesperson, spokeswhatever an intension act to cause damage? Are you saying that Bud wanted it’s stock to tank and that is why Bud used the LGBT person as spokesman? If that is what you are saying that is silly.

You're asking me what goes through the mind of a radical wokist? You expect me to explain the actions of someone that wants their product to be represented by guys in skirts? By guys with beards putting on lipstick? You ask me "what did they expect to gain?".

Your guess is as good as mine... I have no idea.

I am guessing that somehow Bud actually thought albeit foolishly that they would gain market share by playing to the LGBTQ community and its supporters. Of course Bud thought wrong.

I just cannot wrap my head around them doing it for purely political reasons.

I think DeSantis should sue the Republican Party, after all it's THEIR antics that led to the price of the stock to drop. If the Republicans had just kept their mouths shut then no one would have even known.
But no, the Republicans (you know those "pro" business, "small" government people?) cannot stand the idea of someone having a different opinion than them so they have to "punish" anyone they see as stepping out of line.

Budweiser did what they did. If someone didn't like it all they had to do was not buy the product. But that isn't good enough for the GOP, they have to make sure that InBev (the parent company of Budweiser) was sufficiently punished for doing what they did.

Like I said suing InBev for this the wrong target. The reason the stock price dropped is not because what InBev did but because the GOP got their panties in bunch about it.

Alienating their base to gain favorability with 3% of the population is crazy. There is no rational explanation.

So now you blame the GOP for beer prices? LOLOLOL.... too funny! Beer drinkers make up their own minds. Its Democrats that demand toeing the party line. (Have you watched JFK Jr in the hearings?) The Gop didn't do anything at all. Personally, I never drink any beer I can see though. Lite beer is good for keeping the flames down on the BBQ, but that's all.

No, it is was the GOP that lost their GD mind when Bud Light teamed up with Dylan Mulvaney. TBH I had no idea who she was or had even heard of her before this. The fact that she is some minor celebrity on social media was enough for the social warriors on the right to lose their s**t and demand a boycott of Bud Light. THAT'S what caused the stock price to drop. Some "manly" GOP guys are so insecure about their own sexuality that they can't stand the idea of a transgendered person drinking "their" beer.

The GOP had nothing to do with my revulsion when I saw that "whatever it is" stumping for Bud. Politics had nothing to do with it at all. No real difference to me. "Lite" beers are worthless for everything except keeping the flames down on the BBQ. I never drink any beer I can see through.

Negligence in meeting fiduciary responsibility IS a criminal act.

If someone had shorted the stock before the trans thingy ad, the SEC would be investigating. Other than that I don't think they can be sued if the stock price drops. If people could, the courts would be filled to capacity.

If it can be shown that the stock prices dropped because of an executive decision to do something negligent that led to the drop.... that the action was taken knowing that the price would drop... that is an ILLEGAL violation of fiduciary responsibility and punishable by law.
