Precedent: To date, free private markets have been the greatest creators of wealth and destroyers of poverty known to man.

    Government Philosophy:
    - A government's duty should be to create an apparatus in which multiple entities can compete in free and fair private markets.
-- This includes protected access to investment information, fraud, anti-trust laws, etc.

    - Governments should focus on free, fair private markets and use of smart, efficient, and effective laws to created desired results.
-- Danger in the world is as strong as ever. Dependence on foreign manufacturing or energy, for instance, jeopardizes our national security and the ability for our country to be fully internally functional. You can use subsidies, tariffs, etc as long as you emphasizes private enterprise.

Emphasis on these principles, as I said, is highly successful in destroying poverty. The excess prosperity we create could be spent on welfare but the need should be diminished.

I'm critical of price-fixing, the fluctuations created by the federal reserve which is an insulated institution, and government business like Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac.

Obviously, government should be responsible for police, firefighters, libraries, schools (I would support school choice with tax credits, too), military.

these are some essential items to governing to me.

Any additions or thoughts are welcome.
