We can blame them for the initial cover-up, sure.

Blaming them for the spread because it's highly contagious? I don't think so.

I understand if you need someone or something to point a finger at, but that doesn't make it logical.

Well, people are blaming them for the spread because of the initial cover-up.

I'm not sure why you feel compelled to deflect responsibility and quite frankly I don't care, but you might want to check your own madd logic and reading comprehension skillz:

If the coronavirus doesn't get you, and H1N1 doesn't get you, and Trump doesn't get you, global warming will.

Son, you better go buy yourself an underground bunker because the fear you're trying to peddle is only going to affect you and scaredy cats who think like you.

We can easily all blame China for what they did initially as far as covering up that there was an infectious disease which reduced the time for the rest of the world to prepare. But the rest of the world sat and watched what was happening for a month before they even started doing much about it. Even our president spent nearly 2 months downplaying it. That's not China's fault.

Like I said, you guys need someone to point a finger at and I get that. But it doesn't make you right.

This might be a good time to consider going vegetarian.... Oh, wait -- what about E. coli...?

Some time, some day, some place, in some situation, for some reason, something is going to kill you. Embrace the reality.... :skull:

That's rich. Mr. Greater & Smarter Than Thou telling others to remain ignorant because he believes an unproven theory.

We are pointing our fingers at the Chinese government for failing to contain the WuVirus at its source and then lying to the world about it while keeping the health organizations of individual countries and the international community out of China and the epicenter of the outbreak in Wuhan. That is the Chinese government's fault.

I get that you and your ilk feel compelled to deflect from that fact but it doesn't make you right.

Worst thing you can do is get stuck behind a chicken truck or work downwind from a chicken house. The rotten egg smell is unbearable... Especially when you're on a job and can't escape it.

Absolutely! And we need to get med production back in this country regardless of cost before those disgusting people infect us and then deny us the needed medications to keep us alive..

    Thanks president Clinton
China Manufacturing of Most US Medicine and Vitamins Poses Security Threat, Researchers Say
Controlling the Pharma industry was China's goal from the very start and Clinton, against popular criticism basically sold out our domestic producers and now we see the stupidity of a democrat president first hand!

Speaking of Socialist China, my guess is Bernie still has a copy of Mao's "Little Red Book" and reads it daily for inspiration.

I have enjoyed your meltdowns. What are you claiming that 98% agree on? While I am not an expert, I think it is safe to assume that the pollutants that poison our air and contaminate our soil and water are not safe to breathe or consume. The problem is that those claiming to care are only making it worse. This thread is a good example. We tax and regulate manufacturing to the point of China being the only alternative to going out of business and the result is a level of pollution much worse than if we made it here. What pollutes China won't stay in China.

That's okay. History is a testament to what happens to those whose ignorance and hubris gets in the way of doing what is right.

You forgot the WHO who fiddled with this before warning anyone about its severity. When fingers come up to be pointed, China gets the middle one and the WHO gets the shaft.

We can blame them for not taking care of it we can blame them for causing it. If they weren't so disgusting and had regulations on live animals being sold in markets you probably wouldn't even know about SARS.

Truth? Trump was trying to minimize the negative impact on the almighty-god stock markets... nothing less, and nothing more. He views the overall well-being of the entire United States by how well (or poorly) the stock markets are doing, and not much else figures into his thinking. Yeah, you're hearing this from a dyed-in-the-wool Conservative, but I have to be honest and call it like I really see it....

But, I can't bitch too much. It looks like each American is going to get a check from 'Uncle Sugar' for $1,200, and I'll damn sure take it! I won't be buying any stock with it, though. At this point, the stock markets are finally back down to an approximate 'sane' level of valuation -- but if they blast off at some point soon, based on little but hubris and happy rumors, then they'll be in Fantasyland once again, and that's a dangerous place to be... as we have seen....
