You didn’t read ALL my links - black lung can be both above ground and below. Coal dust is coal dust and whether that is underground or generated by explosives it is all the same.

As for the subsidies please prove renewables are receiving more.

There would be no renewables market without subsidies.
Strip mines do not use explosives.

Yes you do because your “common knowledge” is actually just right wing blather and talking points without foundation.

See I have been arguing with people like yourself about climate change fir about the last 25 years and renewables have NEVER Had the subsidies that fossil fuel corporations have had. If the research had have been subsidised at that same rate we would be so far down the track of the needed energy sector revolution that climate change would not even be being talked about. Instead we have been battling misinformation campaigns financed by deep pocket donor like the Koch brothers who also pay off politicians to keep those tax breaks and subsidies flowing

Crybaby nonsense. If renewables were viable without subsidies they would be dominant. Fact is that oil companies pay taxes.

Every year, in it's annual energy issue, the Economist politely suggests Big Oil doesn't need welfare, and that we should stop giving them so much...

We have been helping new tech get going since the 1800s, renewables are just the next step...

Once an admirable publication to which I was a longtime subscriber, The Economist lost their way a few years back. I let my subscription lapse in 2018.

The idea that Koch shills are credible is hysterical..

The Economist has a valid point, the big oil companies make billions, which is how Koch became a billionaire and was able to buy legislators a gross at a time...

You seem to be so well versed on the subject do you think they make solar panels out of cucumbers and oak tree leaves?

What do you think they do with solar panels when they're service life is over? How long do you think those toxic chemicals persist in the environment?

You may invoke the name as often as you like, but Koch has nothing to do with this discussion.

Do they put something carbon into the air?

Energy pollutes, there is no way around that. But the level of damage varies immensely..

I'm sure their production does at some level. Solar has a dark side that all the green weenies seem to want to forget

We are not talking taxes but subsidies, kickbacks and other sweetheart deals and you have yet to back your claim that renewables get more subsidies than oil companies

Inform us - I mean I know what the carbon balance of payment is for renewables but do you?

Well for one thing I do not watch Fox News so perhaps you should reevaluate your blind assumptions....

For another thing I don't do links on my cell phone and I'm not going to tether myself on or an open my laptop to satisfy you. I have done research in the past and I know the solar industry is not all the fairy dust and unicorns you people crack it up to be.

The fact that you think it's the end all be all tells me that most of your research consists of propaganda. What do you think they get the plastic housing to make those solar panels? Petroleum products

Where do you think they get lithium to make the batteries? Strip mining in third world countries.

Do you even know what they make solar panels with?

Then what is your excuse for regurgitating their drivel?
But you are happy to demand I do your homework for you - I often post on an iPhone and links are not THAT a difficult
    [
I do but since the hard work I put into backing MY contentions and claims is usually dismissed out of hand and ignored I am not about to do your homework for you
