I am new to this forum. I have seen political forums where only the resident views (like liberalism) are acceptable. I am open to hearing and discussing all views but tend to be more conservative in my views. I hope that I find this forum to be open to other's views.
Welcome, Mac1. Having been with you on one of those other forums, I know what you mean about only resident views being acceptable. I think you'll find Political Forum a cut above. In my experience, it's the best there is. There's huge diversity of opinion here, as there should be on a true forum. People still squabble and criticize each other's opinions. That's to be expected with politics. But since all opinions are well represented, for every person who says you're wrong, someone else will say you're right. No one has to face up to flame attacks alone, as we used to in that other place. So you've arrived. I look forward to many exchanges with you.

Mac of Michigan and I, along with bobov met at another Board where if you were not a low the line Liberal, you got banned for some excuse. Don't worry mac. I am still the progressiviest member of this Board too but at this Board - you are no where near the rightiest.
