This is inline with what I've seen. Righties who refuse to wear masks are militant about it. They think they have a right to put everyone around them in jeopardy over a minor inconvenience. You can pretty much tell someone's party affiliation by whether or not they are wearing a mask in public. This quickly leads one to conclude that Democrats follow the science and act in the best interests of others, and Republicans only care about themselves.

The decision to wear or avoid them in the middle of the coronavirus pandemic signals whether people have chosen to adhere to public-health guidelines that have taken on political dimensions.

On April 30, some 400 to 700 protesters descended on the Michigan Capitol building to demonstrate against Democratic Gov. Gretchen Whitmer's stay-at-home order, which was issued in March following the declaration of a state of emergency that was set to expire at the end of the day. (She later signed executive orders that put in place a new state of emergency through May 28.)

Conspicuously, most weren't wearing face masks.

Speaking with CNN's Jake Tapper on Sunday, Whitmer said that the protesters, whom President Donald Trump sided with, dredged up "some of the worst racism and awful parts of our history in this country."

"The Confederate flags and nooses, the swastikas, the, you know, behavior that you've seen in all of the clips, is not representative of who we are in Michigan. And the fact of the matter is, I mean, we're in a global pandemic," she said, adding that "we need to listen to the expertise and our institutions of higher learning and our health system and make decisions that are going to protect the lives of everyone."

I personally plan on wearing a mask till the pandemic is deemed over by the WHO!

I was in a super market yesterday, in the self checkout lane and this woman came up behind me put some things on the conveyor belt and she was not wearing a mask and was within six feet of me?!! I told her to move back and take your stuff with you, she compiled. I can see a lot of violence ahead with people invading your space and not wearing a masks?!!

Definitely Republicans Michigan is a far-left blue State, though Whitmer would like you to believe otherwise. Anyway, this was a senseless murder and they should all have the books thrown at them.

 

OP claims these people are Republicans without proof to make his point. Somehow, I doubt that Ramonyea Travon Bishop, Larry Edward Teague, and Sharmel Lashe Teague, are Republicans. Please provide supporting evidence that didn't come from your backside.

If Trump had actually taken the virus seriously (in early stages) and ordered the lockdown a month earlier (instead of still holding rallies in late February calling the virus a "hoax"), maybe the USA would be past the "mask stage".

Trump obviously made it worse, and Trump's inaction most likely led to the circumstances that led to this man being killed.

Why didn't Trump take the Virus Threat seriously?

The refusal to wear a mask isn’t limited to righties. Mask, no mask, you can still get infected. If the store gets my money, why should they care? It has to be a high crime area to have a security guard at a dollar store.
