And having those values is fine, but you don't get to insert them into the law using your religion as a justification.
That violates the establishment clause. The question: Can you separate your personal beliefs from the law is a valid one.

Additionally: We're talking about federal judges with lifetime appointments chief, not voting for city council.

Did Hispanics stop voting for Trump when he insisted that a federal judge that was Hispanic couldn't sit on the bench and decide a case that involved Trump?

Wemm much of our current federal judiciary is using their"religious views" to create laws both of which are illegal.
    9th circuit does this constantly.

    First: Are using.
Second: So your solution is to get in the mud and wrestle with the pigs until they hate filth? My, you've really thought that one through huh? Its wrong when they do it, its wrong when you do it.
Third: Your argument amounts to "I want to act like the 9th circus whom I revile rather than abide by the constitution"

I think we should strike down most of our laws and go back to just the constitution

Most of the laws people take for granted are unconstitutional at root, yes.

Like anti discrimination and hate crime laws.
Both of which are done with great intentions but create unequal protection.

Good intentions are not just cause for creating laws.

Those would be good examples, yes, to an extent. Equal protection requires the government retain them, but private enterprise not taking public funds (one could imagine an exception for companies working a .gov contract) should be immune to such things.
Put up a sign, identify yourself so if people don't wish to support your practices they may easily avoid you, and don't be surprised when you get picketed, but refuse service based on whatever you'd like.

    Yes there was.

What history doesn't tell you that the reason was because of the "St. Patrick's Battalion" during the Mexican-American War when Irish immigrant soldiers while serving in the U.S. Army switched sides and fought along side with the enemy (Mexicans.)

FYI: everyone of those Irish traitors were hanged except one.

It was believed that the Irish put their religion (Catholicism) above loyalty to the United States.

That's why no Catholic was ever successful running for President until 1960.

That was not the inciting reason for anti papist sentiment in a majority protestant nation. That **** goes back to the original schism.

Every ethnic group that came to America faced some kind of resentment and hostility.
Even the English because there were so many anarchist English immigrants who caused trouble in America.

The largest ethnic group in America are Germans. But there were the Lutheran Germans and the Catholic Germans from Bavaria and Austria and the Protestant Germans were at the Catholic German throats that continued until 1941 when America entered WW ll.

Immigrants being attacked is part of the initiation of becoming an American.
If you can take the licking...welcome you are an American.

I agree, i don't think it's in any companies best interest to discriminate but if they are dumb enough they should be allowed to. Assuming they receive no government support.

Pretty much. Its part of assimilation: You're different, we don't like you REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE until you can demonstrate you fit or you conform. I'm not calling it moral, but its certainly part of human psychology.

And make them put up a sign announcing it or call it a deceptive trade practice.
That way people can easily vote with their feet and wallets on the issue, as is proper.

That is true, good or bad it's true. People don't like change so change is resisted until it isn't anymore.
Lots of people resented immigrants from southeast asia now they don't.
I don't think there is a lot of resentment against migrants currently just a lot of desire for them to migrate legally and many don't.

Or even make everyone put up a sign even if it just states all are welcome.

If Mexican illegal aliens were have quickly assimilated and adopted America's customs, traditions, language and politics you wouldn't have seen the resistance against these foreigners who want free stuff and demand that we except their language, customs and traditions and socialist politics.

That was true with liberal Democrats and Joe Biden and Jerry Brown.

A good number of them actually have assimilated. That's why latinos are pretty evenly split ideologically if you look at a demographic poll.
In my experience you encounter 3 types more or less: 1) came here legally (or family did) and are pissed off that anyone would do otherwise 2) came here illegally and are hard core reconquista types when it comes right down to it 3) came here illegally, or more often started legal but status changed and they never left or they caught a DUI etc and are now deportable if they ever leave, are incredibly ashamed of doing so and have otherwise assimilated.

Oh. I reached a very solid conclusion. And it's that what you said was a lie. Why lie? Did you think you might get away with it?
