Petty? I gave you multiple explicit, verifiable, and serious reasons why trump is arguably one of the worst presidents of all time. I then offered praise for George Jr.

 

I think it's adorable that you have an opinion. But they're like a certain part of the anatomy on the exit end of the digestive tract in two ways.

 

Truly effective? The man has a grand total of two major pieces of legislation signed in two years of unified party rule. He has made one international trade deal.

The border with Mexico is @ 2000 miles long. At present, a fence, wall, etc., covers @ 700 miles of it. There are vast stretches of border with no wall, fence, berm, at all.

100's of thousands of unknown illegal entrants cross the border every year.

Does the New Democratic Party have a plan to address that?

You missed the most important things he has done. He has reversed the anti-business attitude in America and has begun putting China - the enemy of the world - a little bit back on its heels. I don't care about legislation. In fact I wish we had a whole lot less of it. I could go on but we'll leave it at that.

I find it odd how they double backed on themselves in just two decades. They went from liberal to authoritarian quite quickly.

 

In light of your support of a president who had the fourth worst economic record in America history I'd say you're definitely in a position to speak to us about low standards.

Unemployment decreased by nearly 5% during his term. The Stock Market increased by nearly 170%. The private sector saw the single longest consecutive period of job growth in US history. We added nearly 11.7 million jobs. Median household income increased by 5%, home prices by 20%, the poverty rate dropped by 0.5%. Corporate profits increased by nearly 60%.

And Obama started his first term with the single worst recession since the Great Depression. So yea, I absolutely support Obama despite having one poor statistic on his record.

 

As a former "progressive" I can tell you it was inevitable. The New Left has become the Old Left.

 

I don't think they ever changed. I'm a liberal, I was never progressive, I find myself agreeing with Democrats very little. I don't know that I ever did. I'm rather young.
