By soft coup, I mean Trump still being in office, but being cut out of the decision loop for certain things, mainly military matters. So who's making the military decisions? The military men. Kelly, Mattis, McMaster, Dunford. Look at Trump's transgender declaration. The US military is now ignoring their CIC. It's likely that the military men have told the service chiefs "If the president tells you something, do not act on it until you check with us first. Pay no attention to what he twitters. We'll talk him down from anything especially crazy." The services are no doubt very happy to comply. They don't want to have to obey crazy orders from a senile narcissist, but they don't want to appear to be in mutiny. I don't think these military men have any desire take over the government. They're not gong to interfere in civilian matters, or cancel any elections. They're just protecting the USA from a president who is effectively a domestic enemy, as their oaths mandate. It's kind of a sad statement of the times that such a soft coup makes everyone sleep more soundly. It's not a good option, but it beats WW3.
so you trust these generals? patton wanted to continue ww#2 with stalins russia dont yah think these military industrial complex types would want to start a proxy war that will led to the next Great WAR!
ah you havent got with the new world order socialist program i see yet the generals and NATO want a war with russia
It was too much to expect an outsider (representing the people) to have real power. The deep state is too entrenched. But it's fun to see liberals passing a kidney every news cycle and Hillary somewhere in the woods.
Every time I hear this type of nonsense I crack up. How is Trump an outsider? Because his type of elitist lifestyle was only connected to politicians he was not arguing with at the moment and Wall Street banksters that were waiting for the same deregulations that he was to further help them game the system? Tell me how the trust find baby who has spent most of his life swindling the little guy relates to the little guy so that I can get another laugh out of it. Will you be joining his golf country club Mar-a-Largo in the near future or has his raising the membership fee to $250,000 a year placed it out of your reach? Unbelievable!
The military is not ignoring Trump on the transgender issue. The soon to be former Coast Guard guy was foolishly vocal, but the rest of the military is awaiting formal instructions to act upon. Either you are ill informed or perhaps you are trying to be misleading on that issue. Either way, you should check out thread creation rules...
Surely you know he is threatening the establishment in Washington. He's overturning regulations and changing the direction of the DOJ and state department, etc. People with cushy jobs and a conventional leftist view of the world are not happy.
Don't tell me what I surely know...I'll tell you what I surely know. Trump is putting on a show for the rubes by throwing them a bone now and again and red meat from time to time. I have no great love for the so called Washington establishment and most Americans feel the same, but they will be the ones to save us from this abomination by limiting his powers. Trump came to build his brand and enrich himself and if you cannot see how much of a phony he is, you should be ashamed of yourself because he would steal anyone's granny's bloomers right our from under her butt if given the opportunity.
We should of done what Patton wanted and March right into Moscow. Instead the ******* FDR gave up half of Europe for over 45 years . .
If that was the case that would not be a soft coup, that would be a military coup. LOL Needless to say it's not the case. Trump has always maintained that he would delegate military matters to [gasp] generals and would not politicize or second guess their decisions. He is living up to his promise and proving that it's the right approach, given our success in fight against ISIS which has been by far more successful in the last 6 months than during the previous 8 years of Obama's incompetent meddling in military matters.
Absolutely not. The military-industrial complex doesn't want WW3, as that would be very bad for profits. They want a constant threat of war, not actual war. So, it's not great to have those men directing military policy. However, it's a lot better than having Trump start WW3 because he's butthurt about something.
Trump just continued the Obama policies. Hence, Obama gets most of the credit. It's one good thing Trump did, not screwing up Obama's good work, so we can give him credit for that.
and the NWO PC liberals swallowed us up and won us over and the Russians stayed pure old school.. you been hypnotized by them
