As Stephen Colbert like to say, I don't see race. I don't see him as a black man and every so often I realize he is. I see no difference because of race- he is our President.

I suspect President Obama will try to run against President Bush again. I'm sure nitwits would like that but President Obama can't run on his record even with the national media covering for him.

Nonsense. One of my all-time favorite presidents was a Democrat. Harry Truman. It's the free-spending, totally irresponsible, racist Democrats that I don't wish to see running the country. There are still some fiscally responsible Democrats.

I immediately called out Herman Cain for being a piece of crap person. And he's black, so I guess that race was never the issue for me.

 

Political correctness is just an attempt to control free speech. And if you let it filter what you say because you are afraid of what other people might think of you, then you are a coward. Plain and simple. Not only that, but the people who cannot accept honest criticism of Obama's actions and policies and always have to call people racist who say anything bad about him are showing what is truly in their own hearts. They are literally consumed with fear and guilt. They are so terrified of other people thinking they are racist that they cannot even give or hear an honest criticism of another human being if he/she happens to be a different color than them because they cannot see that human being as an individual person. They only see them as a color. To guilt-mongers, Barack Obama the man does not exist. There is only Barack Obama the color black. Which must be protected at all costs and must never be challenged on anything ever. That right there is the truest definition of racism. And it makes me sick. Martin Luther King would be rolling in his grave right now if he saw the insane level of overcompensation today's left wing clings to because they do not have the capacity to look past someone's race or the guts to truly judge someone exclusively by their character and their actions.

 

I went easy on Obama not for his race but for the mess he was left to clean up.

Now that it's clear he's part of the problem and not part of the solution, I don't go easy on him.

I have a friend who, like Obama, was born in the U.S. She's a citizen. Unlike Obama she had to provide a birth certificate to get a passport. But, when she was three-months old she went to Mexico and didn't return to the U.S. until she was sixteen. Culturally, she is no more American than Obama.
