It's very convenient to blame a third party for a problem, even when they don't own a big share of it. Of course Chicago police have shot some young gangstas; this is what happens to criminals that get caught and resist arrest. The crucial point of the large majority of those Chicago deaths of young men and women is that it is other young gangstas killing them, and trying to obscure that fact does the Black community no favors at all.
