My name is Jeff and I live in Tulsa, Oklahoma. I am a registered Democrat and am a little more liberal than the majority of my family, but more conservative than the National Democratic Party. I am very interested in the 2016 elections and am currently searching for a candidate to support. I was supporting Chris Christie, but I'm not sure if he'll run because I haven't heard of any announcement date from him. First and foremost, I am a Christian. Southern Baptist by denomination. I am pretty old school in my beliefs, but I don't shove my beliefs down other's throats. If they ask me what I believe, I will tell them. I am also a big sports fan. I like the Dallas Cowboys in the NFL, Oklahoma City Thunder in the NBA, St Louis Cardinals in MLB, and my college teams are Oklahoma and Oklahoma State. I graduated from Northwestern Oklahoma State University in Alva, Oklahoma in 2007 with a Bachelor's degree in E-Commerce. I graduated high school in 2001. I will be 33 years old on April 29 and am not married and have no kids other than two kids that I sponsor in Kenya. I am interested in all things US Politics as well as East African politics (Kenya, Uganda, South Sudan, Ethiopia, Tanzania, and Somalia). I look forward to some great discussions on this forum. I am thrilled to be a part of the PF Family!
Welcome aboard good sir! South Sudanese politics are quite intriguing indeed. I look forward to lengthy discussions about the effectively one-party secular right wing state. Bless you.
You know people don't realize that Oklahoma has a bunch of Democrats. Though---I'm not one of them Welcome!!!
I did . We used to call them boll weevil Dems. In any case this progressive liberal Dem hopes to convert you, OklahomaDem. Welcome!
Well..what is not realized because we are such a red state is that Republicans accounted for 43.6 percent of registered voters. Democrats made up 43.5. We overtook the Democrats just recently. I don't know why half our registered voters are called Boll weevils...but I'm sure its because they have commonsense like all of Oklahoma.
Thank you all for your kind words. I am excited to be here. I look forward to great and insightful discussions!
Good day, my brother in Christ! I hope you had a #blessed Easter this past Sunday! What types of cuisine do our lambs in God eat out in the great state of Oklahoma? I'm from the good part of Pennsylvania, away from the liberal {Adviser Edit - Rule 2 INSULTS} in Philly, but we still eat cheesesteaks! LOL! May the Holy Father go with you today.
I must say I agree! I also wonder what your thoughts are about Ethiopian politics, OklahomaDemocrat, with elections coming up next month after all. What do you think will happen?
i too am a southerner! and a god fearing one at that! #blessed. ive been looking for a political forum to post in...so today i decided to google: 'political forum'...and whaddayaknow? duh. never thought it would be this easy.
I have been lost for years trying to find a proper place to truly express my views as well, and what do you know, I found Political Forum! God is truly shining her beacon of light on all of us here today. Finally, something to do instead of pestering my friends to talk about the Lord all evening!
It's good to meet you, Jeff. Although I have a BIG PROBLEM with the Dallas Cowboys, it's nice to know that there are other brothers in Christ with us.
God is really showing off by getting all these great new members to join politicalforum.com. Hallelujah!
Thank you! I am really glad to be here and look forward to good discussions as the 2016 election approaches.
