Can someone please help me out with the following two questions/quotes for my
History in political parties class? These two questions are quotes that I'm supposed to work off of.

Question 1: "The Founding Fathers by constructing an almost unworkable constitutional system made the rise of political parties inevitable."

Question 2: "The last time we had 'A choice instead of an echo' was in 1860. The result was a Civil War."

Question 1: "The Founding Fathers by constructing an almost unworkable constitutional system made the rise of political parties inevitable."
Response: When The United States was established, the system was limitted to wealthy landholders. It actually worked when there was only that select group who did the voting. It worked because all voting members had a common interest which was the holding of land.
Question 2: "The last time we had 'A choice instead of an echo' was in 1860. The result was a Civil War."
Response: The reasonings behind the Civil War was economical. The reason for voting today still revolves around economics, no which way you study voting habits in this country (past or present).

I do not know if the information that I provided is helpful or not, I just offered said information.
