KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- Herman Cain was the winner in a straw poll taken this weekend at the National Republican Women's 36 Biennial Convention. Cain garnered 48.9 percent of the 505 votes cast Saturday at the conference. Rick Perry, 14.1 percent, was a distant second and Mitt Romney, 13.3 percent, was third in the nine-candidate poll, whose results were released on Sunday morning. Newt Gingrich was fourth at 12.5 percent.
