I am very pleased that this scumbag has been convicted and is going to prison.

This made me laugh, but now I don't think it's so funny. This moral panic about pedophilia is getting out of hand. We've reached the point where fathers are afraid to change their daughter's diapers.

That is a problem with pedophiles; they are apparently difficult to treat and have a high recidivism rate. Anyone happen to know why? And not from a personal standpoint!

Nothing against the OP but it will be nice when people can post good news such as this without adding the words Hetrosexual or Homosexual before the word pedophile, I do not care what the monsters sexual preference is, the fact is they are criminal monsters. Personally for me 35 years is light, I would add 65 years, natual life works for me for these monsters, but I will take it as a win for justice.

 

In general I agree- pedophile actually describes the offender exactly correctly. I am ever hopeful that threads will be started that are focused on the actual crimes of child molestation and their victims in an unbiased fashion. It is why I declined using the term recently but I do understand with all the threads headlines 'homosexual pedophile' that the temptation is to demonstrate in this way that there is no real necessity to add these kinds of descriptors.

 

What's wrong with the death penalty? Pedophiles are INCURABLE, and , if releases, will harm other children.

Now can you grasp that pedophilia is not an orientation. Pedophiles often will victimize any child that they have access to.

A man raping a female child does not make him a heterosexual pedophile. A man raping a male child does not make him a homosexual pedophile. It makes him a pedophile. A heterosexual male is an adult male who is sexually attracted to adult females. An adult male who is sexually attracted to adult males.

But please...keep trying to spin it to fear monger against gays.

 

Can you show us ANY published definition of homosexuality that contains these limitations?
