    Exactly.

Don't you realize that your title isn't an opinion? It's a commandment.

    We didn't make anything up.

Obama has yet to testify under oath.

So I am giving him the benefit of the doubt by assuming that he isn't so incompetent that he didn't know government gunrunning was a bad idea because it had been tried already.

But if he really was that sound asleep on the job that is only a slight improvement over being an evil bastard who wanted the guns to fall into the hands of the Mexican mafia so that he could take advantage of it politically.

Is there a third option other than Obama being dangerously and deadly ignorant and Obama knowing this was bad and proceding with this bloody and deadly mess anyway? You still haven't answered how giving 2,000 guns without GPS to drug cartels could ever be an intelligent thing to do.

I don't know if "commandment" is the right word.

More like a warning to the fat one that the Republican base has a long memory and sucking up to the enemy is not the best way to win them over.

Are you guys so far into reality-denial that you missed what happened on Nov. 6? Do you really want to NEVER win another national election? Have you listened to Rush and Fox for so long that you're actually UNABLE to think for yourselves, or even to perceive simple facts? Facts like: Your vision of America was resoundingly rejected by the American people? Do you really not get that?

There are only a handful of Republicans right now who could possibly be elected President, most prominently Jeb Bush, Chris Christie and John Hunstman. None of these guys could survive the whackjob GOP primary process. So if you want to keep nominating nutcases, or moderates who've been forced to pander to your most extreme elements, be my guest.

In other words, he'd better stop thinking for himself, right? I mean, if he wants republican support.

    Republicans maybe.

    But conservatives no.

They are the opposite of what a conservative should be.

Correct. In the face of a catastrophic storm, Christie should have refused all federal help. That's the level of rationality we're dealing with.

If that's what passes for rational thought in the Christie camp then he needs to think again.

No one with the last name Bush would have a prayer in the general election. Exit polls showed that people still blame GWB and not Obama for our current fiscal mess.

Interesting article, thanks. This is the heart of it for me:

"But Fast and Furious is different because it was “uncontrolled delivery,” whereby the criminals were essentially allowed to drop off the map. Perhaps more importantly, Wide Receiver was conducted with the cooperation of the Mexican government. Fast and Furious was not."

I don't see how anyone can possibly think that 2,000 guns without GPS to Mexican drug-cartels could ever be an intelligent idea.

It was Obama's duty to know about Operation Wide Receiver.

If he or Holder didn't know they should have known.

    I didn't make up anything.

If Obama didn't know then he's not earning those expensive vacations he and Michelle Antoinette go on all over the world.

It was his duty to know.

Then you need to face facts. America has rejected your version of conservatism. You have a choice: You can reconcile yourself to Republicans. Or you can continue down the road you're on, into the wilderness of political irrelevance.

    Not at all.

Since Obama should have known about it I'm going to assume that he did until its proven otherwise.

If it turns out that Der Fuhrer is really just a fool rather than a (*)(*)(*)(*) liar I'll be the first to say I was wrong.

It wasn't... The administration muffed the pooch on that one!!!! I like how it stated that Obama should have been impeached like Watergate with Nixon. That this was far worst than what Nixon did since someone was killed by the outcome of what the Administration did, AND that Obama did the exact same thing by covering it up!!

He should NOT be in the White House!!

    Perhaps.

The Brits rejected Churchill in the 1930's when he tried to warn them about Hitler.

All we can do is be true to ourselves and our principles and let history do the rest.

Christie's ratings are surging. Looks like the nut-bags are getting left in the dust again.

So did Neville Chamberlains when he was competing with Churchill to be Prime Minister.
