I love it... I'm a huge Nas fan anyway, but, he really got ahold of his old form on this album... I think my favorite track is either "World's An Addiction" cause it has that "Superfly" Curtis Mayfiled vibe, or "Daughters" because I have one now, and, it's really thought provoking, and, I suspect raising a girl is a challenge, esp. as she get sinto her teenage years, and he really hits on that... What is you guys' opinion on it?
I got Let's Get Free back in 2000, and I liked it... Ever since, they've been pretty terrible... Give Life Is Good a listen... It's good for you...
"Trust" "The Black Bond" "Reach out" "Loco-motive" "Accident Murders" are all my style. So far so good. The slower songs I could do without but all in all it is pretty good so far.
The Coup is OK... IT is cool, he just gets a little too overly political for me at times... Lol... i know, that probably sounds odd from a dude on a political forum, and esp. since I'm a Saigon fan, but *shrug* He's dope though..
" Daughters" Summer on Smash" "You wouldn't understand' are also good. I give it a 8/10 and I am a tough critic.
You into old school gangster rap? I have a portait of Eazy-E tattooed on me and a Public Enemy tattoo over my heart (the cross hairs image). I also have a Dead Prez tattoo.
Cool. When I have more time I will come back to your thread and geek out with you on some old school (*)(*)(*)(*).
