    snip

home foreclosures saw a "notable" increase in January as Americans continue to grapple with the ongoing cost-of-living crisis. That is according to a new report published by real estate data provider ATTOM, which found that lenders repossessed 3,954 U.S. properties in January, a 13% increase from the previous month...........

In Michigan, completed foreclosures jumped 200%, while they rose 47% in Minnesota and 43% in California

    end snip

More signs of reality. Many folks could only survive the hyper-inflation for short periods. You can only rob Peter to pay Paul for so long. No matter how many feel-good stories the media regurgitates from the WH, reality seeps out and the folks see what is happening.

I expect that we will see some posters here tell us that this is a good thing

care to post something factual or comment on the topic? Or, do you just want to try and derail the thread?

the right will tells us this is a good thing, the republican run FED raising interest rates to keep wages from rising is causing mortgages to go up

the Republican run FED is cooling the HOT Biden economy.... and trying to blame the cooling on Biden

I was very on topic, if Republican can afford to send a multibillionaire money to pay his legal issues, they got money to spare

Republicans said the people had too much money, they wanted the FED to raise interest rates to make the people poorer as that was their cure to inflation

if only republicans had admitted early on this was really a global supply issue due to covid - but they could not blame Biden for that

Do you really think that it's all those republicans in California and the other blue states are sending money to Trump?

why do you break out the Democrat pom poms and think that this thread blames Biden? He is as incompetent as it comes and can barely piece together a sentence. This is about good folks losing their homes yet you somehow try to make it a good thing; try to derail a thread and wave Democrat pom poms over some fantasy that you have. Give it a break will ya. Shame on you

Home foreclosures, vehicles being repossessed, credit card debt at unprecedented levels, commercial real estate entering a tailspin. Things are great!

    When a republican is president.

The republican FED keeps interests rates up when a democrat is president to hurt people.

Clearly if Biden was a better public speaker, people would pay their mortgage.

There are oodles and oodles of facts, figures, and information out there that show how bad the average person in America is suffering and yet the left want to gloss over it and tell us how great things are.

it makes you shake your head in disbelief. To what end for the Democrat voters? It's not just non-Democrat voters losing their jobs, losing their homes, not making ends meet.

Funny thing, besides the doom and gloom peddling by the Trump lovers, the American comsumer just keeps consuming.

That's why the Fed may have to postpone the next rate cut.

We didn't ever need interest rate increases in the first place because all they had to do was quit their stupid liberal policies and inflation would not have gotten out of control. You obviously don't want to acknowledge that prices today are about 20% higher since Biden took office (those prices don't actually go down when inflation decreases), evictions are at highs, foreclosures are at highs, auto defaults are at highs, savings withdraws are at highs, credit card debt is at highs, pay day loans are at highs, and food banks inundated. Your consumer is going under because they have to charge groceries and rents just in order to live.

    sigh

the thread is about good folks losing their homes. Trump lovers would be Democrat voters such as yourself when Trump was a fellow Democrat and working his reality show and making the Democrat talk shows as a guest.

Can you focus on the topic; good folks losing their homes

They are also sending too much money to Biden, who is using it to subsidize illegal aliens with cash extracted from the tax-paying Americans he is sworn to serve first.

Contributing to Trump is a choice and a right. The money Biden is spending to actually support an invasion of aliens is taken from us by force of law, and the misuse of that money is a dereliction of duty- as well as a betrayal of the trust of the American people.

The fed may be slowing purchasing power but they damn sure are not causing existing homeowners to have higher payments. Unless they are in an adjustable rate mortgage.

To be honest I’m not sure if those are legal anymore. I believe Obama made them illegal but I could be wrong. None the less, if they do still exist they are not a path any intelligent person would take during record low interest rates. So let’s hope that’s not the case.
