It's a ride which is sure to make you dizzy.

FL has to fill the vacancy. But, they need to give $6 million + to numbnuts as the door hits him on the butt

There are talks about a McElwain, a student of Saban being offered the job but he has a huge buyout as well of over $7 million at CSU.

Would UF pay $14 million before even having a coach?

McDaniels name is also being bantered around and working beneath Belichick sure didn't hurt but, is he up to the task of college ball? The UF job is one of the plum jobs within college sports and a salary north of $4 million doesn't hurt.

Hoke is being called in today so unless it's purely financial, he should be gone as well.

Would Les even consider it? The SEC west is pretty darn tough when compared to the Big 10. Being over 60, would he really feel like rebuilding a program? What are the financials? Unless something magical happens at QB, I see another bad season for LSU and does he really want that?

If you look at his tree, he has 2 notables, one Bo Pellini who is now out of work and 1 Jimbo Fisher at FSU.

And who is being groomed to replace Spurrier? He needs a good season in 2015 to get people excited again about SC. Sure, we know about Bowden and Petrino but at 70, how much longer should Spurrier really continue. I'd like to see him and Holtz banter about on TV. I think that would be one entertaining pair.

not a plum job but Blankenship just got fired from Tulsa

well, rumors of Hugh going to UF have been put to bed. Ole Miss just ponied up about $4 million per year to keep him

    Vandy dumped their offensive coordinator

IMO, they should dump the entire offense

Muskrat to Auburn as the highest paid asst coach/D coordinator

Muskrat knows defense so it might be a good fit for him. He also knows SEC teams so he hits the ground running

It will be interesting to see if Will can put together a winning defense on a Gus Malzahn coached football team. Ellis Johnson is a very good DC, but somebody had to be a scapegoat for Auburn's 8-4 regular season. Wonder who'll be the next HC at Auburn? We might find out next December.

Unless Les Miles owns a time machine that can transport Ann Arbor back to the 1990s, then he'd be better off staying at LSU. Michigan hired a damned good coach in Rich Rod, but they wouldn't allow him to coach the team. Living in the past just won't cut it with modern day college football.

49'ers coach is going to be looking for a job. Might be time to head back to college vs crossing the bay and taking the Oakland job

and once again, sec makes a spot-on prediction.

It looks like the Big 10 is in rebuild mode with MI and OSU now with good coaches
