The UF job is one of the plum jobs within college sports and a salary north of $4 million doesn't hurt. Hoke is being called in today so unless it's purely financial, he should be gone as well. Would Les even consider it? The SEC west is pretty darn tough when compared to the Big 10. Being over 60, would he really feel like rebuilding a program? What are the financials? Unless something magical happens at QB, I see another bad season for LSU and does he really want that? If you look at his tree, he has 2 notables, one Bo Pellini who is now out of work and 1 Jimbo Fisher at FSU. And who is being groomed to replace Spurrier? He needs a good season in 2015 to get people excited again about SC. Sure, we know about Bowden and Petrino but at 70, how much longer should Spurrier really continue. I'd like to see him and Holtz banter about on TV. I think that would be one entertaining pair.
